This is honestly unbelievable, The Democrat leadership is falling apart.

I'm actually glad this has happened now, say China had invaded Taiwan or Russia rolled its tanks into the Balkans with this utter shower at the wheel?

All of them need to fall on their swords and go.

I am not surprised, they have shoved him out of the way, in case he gets near a microphone and addresses the media. Those who put this clown in power should hang their heads in shame

James cleverly the CONservative chap was an embarassment, had nothing to say but just rabbled on about nothing and wouldn"t answer any question. She had a tough job trying to let anyone in who could answer the question as his mouth just blurted outbull. They should have a hol card system, yellow for not answering the question, and a red for doing it twice. If that is the best we have in this country, along with rabb and bojo, we really are in trouble! And with no opposition, I fear for the future. But you get what you vote for, least we have democracy! It"s going to be interesting....

Yes he was very poor.

Spoke to my gf in North Carolina last night , she said the country seems quite pleased that the troops are coming home and its not as big a deal story wise as it is for us. She is also pro trump, like lots in the country in that part of the states. The yanks only care about America, thats why 90% of them don"t travel abroad or own passports, why would they? City break in Las Vegas or NYC, ski in Colorado, beach Miami or California-even Myrtle beach in South Carolina. Point being, they are happy with the boys coming home and no more $$$$$$$$$ spent-or so they think.

Sure, until the next attack.

I think most of us agree that the US had to pull out eventually.

It's the sheer cut and run incompetence......they had no plan B and god knows how many people will suffer for it.

The Democrats need to replace Biden with someone who can actually do the job.

I think that for ordinary Americans this will run deep.

As it does here, too.

Indeed! Just saying that a lot of yanks outside Washington are just country folk who dont want any more $$$$$$ spent on another counter-there"s plenty of poverty and problems over there to chuck them at.As for them handling things badly, they are politicians, just look whats happening with ours here- no suprises it"s not going as smoothe as planned.

I wouldn"t bank on it, they are just busy living and paying bills trying to avoid covid like most people. We are on a politics thread on a football site so everything gets magnified in thread world, but lots of people, don"t give a flying fcuk, even over here! But in a country the size of America, apart from the big cities in the north east, they don"t go much in to foreign politics. The Trump/Biden election was different, the South were well in to it obviously, but apart from getting the troops home and keeping $$$$$$ safe, they just get on with it. The price of fuel going up at the local petrol station is a much bigger topic!
