Right deal for palace usually doesn’t coincide with the right deal for the selling club. Hate this right deal for palace nonsense. It’s just a lame excuse peddled by the club to justify their pathetic attempts in the transfer market. That’s no slight on your information Dazza btw. Agreed

Could cash strapped QPR spending £2m on a forward be a sign of Eze's imminent departure...? [Link]
George Courtney, the World Cup referee, everyone is looking at him. When will he blow....? |

Just guesswork though. I don't have any inside info.

I've been listening to West Ham fans at work, they seem to think he'll be signing for them by the end of next week, and he wants to go there.

Heard an interview with the QPR manager where he said he expected to ‘lose one or two’ of his players before the season.

The important thing is that we would lose potentially the most creative midfielder we would have had in years, who might make a few chances even Benteke couldn't miss!

No other clubs are in for Eze at the moment. Right now it's a case of Palace think QPR need to sell so are sticking to their price. QPR are hoping someone will come in and force a bidding war but it's not happening. the rumours of clubs like West Ham after him aren't true, they are merely leaked stories to try and get more bids or make Palace nervous. I think if we can get Fraser in, it strengthens our position massively as we have that additional wide man. Then we will have more money and our target could change from Eze to someone that was on the radar but possibly too expensive a transfer fee. If we don't get Fraser, I would expect we might make a bit more of a push for Eze. Until that point, it's sensible to hold off and try and get him for low a price as possible when your budget is limited.
