Support for diversity, equality, inclusion, green issues, anti racism and all the other 'woke' middle and higher class fantasies and ideologies that identify the 'woke' are all on easy display from both Charles, William and Ginger....it's a joke, the monarchy wouldn't even exist if those ideologies were followed. Even the Queen compared this generation with the war generation in terms of greatness....not woke perhaps but total bullsh1t.
'Greatness' is a very vague term particularly when comparing generationally - what made someone great 100 years ago is very different to now. Edited by EverybodyDannsNow (16 Feb 2022 12.59pm)

Edited by EverybodyDannsNow (16 Feb 2022 12.59pm) Not necessarily - "On this day (Feb 16th) Howard Carter opened the inner burial chamber of Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun's tomb and finds the sarcophagus" - wait that was in 1923, only 99 years ago, my apologies.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

While I don't think think most in that family are bad people - charity work for example. I do think they are products of their time. Over time I've come to realise that the Monarchy are just a support chorus for whatever time they exist in mimicking the culture. It's just another institution that will say anything and pretty much do anything to stay in place. Edited by Stirlingsays (16 Feb 2022 1.08pm)

In that context, a largely figurehead, constitutional monarchy doesn't seem too bad.
