So really he would fit right in with plenty of Football Club owners and, indeed, many managers too.

the 1st thing that any new owner would need to do is invest £200m in the starting 11...we have the oldest team in the PL and that is going to start to show in the next year or so.

this in my opinion would probably only allow us to keep up the jones’ in a mid-table sense.

coupled with the stadium plans & academy plans thats nearly £400m investment all in, then theres covering the operating losses that will obviously come from upsizing our operation...all in all we need somebody with extremely deep pockets willing to spunk money up the wall as a plaything, and i just cant see us being that lucky.

what, in my humble opinion we need to do, is take 4 of our best players from the academy, a full back, centre back, winger & striker and start to slowly blood them in the 1st team , to see if we could save ourselves an awful lot of money in squad overhaul costs as the prices good young players move for is eye watering

Who are these players though? I think our academy side has barely won a game all season.

If we do end up with money to spend dont let Freedman anywhere near it. For Gods sake buy the players that Roy actually wants

Bit unfair to blame Freedman entirely. It’s fairly well accepted Roy wanted Sorloth.... not so good.

I have seen 2 figures £125m and £215m I think one of the papers has a typo.

Worrying times until we know more. Where is the money coming from? I hope they are not going to do a Man United and buy the club with our money saddling us with a load of debt?

What are their plans or do they see us a a PL cash cow?

Here's hoping its the right kind of owners.

Yeh, it went up to 215 overnight on same feed, mayve it will double again by tomorrow and we can finally get the new stand built with a bit to spare!

This is not technically correct, he was convicted " in absentia " of abuse of power which is not the same as a corruption conviction. This was hardly a fair process regardless of the merits of the allegations.

The only material thing is whether the football authorities in England have any issues with someone in the " fit and proper " consideration.

We don't have those players in our academy.

The Thai legal system is corrupt as they come. He was basically forced out as he was becoming more popular than their King, for throwing money at poor rural areas to enlist votes.

Looking at who is regarded “fit and proper” currently, he will have no issues.

We do....lets not make the mistake of assuming just because the 'team' isnt doing well that there isn't talent in it

how can you possibly know that? what a flippant comment.

i can tell you one thing, we wont know if we dont try, what harm is having them on the bench instead of jairo, or camarasa, or dann for example going to do?

I really don’t think we do at the moment. Who do you think can make the step up from the current crop?
