Oh dear Jeremy. When people in your party are leaving because they say you are a danger to the security of the nation you go an offer support for a member of IS

I think considerations for the baby are reasonable. This is an innocent, as are all babies. She wants a second chance, where was the second chance for the beheaded fella she saw in the dustbin? How much sympathy did she have for him? I have far far more sympathy for whoever that was. She made her own bed......Let her supporters (which are numerous) support her and pay her way.

Or did she become pregnant, after 4 years, to use the child as a reason to be allowed back to the UK, knowing the child would be British. Well, as this is her third child I consider that to be unlikely

So they knew what she was doing. Since she is over the age of majority, I fail to see how her family can do anything on her behalf - at 19 she is not longer classified as a child.

There are so many whistles and bells with this campaign to help Begum. One, she may be legally a Briton and should really be allowed back, but TBH there are far more deserving causes to get exercised about. Two, if you can easily be susceptible to joining a terrorist group at that age should you really be allowed to vote at 16 (or doing anything 'adult')? Three, an Independent journalist claims she deserves rehabilitation. But isn't that to be prefaced by remorse and an unequivocal acceptance of wrongdoing? It's like a child abuser agreeing to be 'cured' but doesn't regret raping children. Four, she does start claiming some kind of regret. Straight after her passport was taken from her. I see. The list, I imagine, could go on.

Her father agrees with the British government decision according to The Independent because of her lack of remorse. She regrets using the media. She thinks she’s being made an example of, probably because she knows she might be in East London right now. Example or not, she’s still in the wrong. She is crazy, confused and desperate. She’s done wrong, but thinks it would’ve been ok if she didn’t go public like others have done, which makes it ok, but because she’s been made an example of, rather than it being dealt with how it should be (which of course she won’t say).

And as penge mentioned earlier, she has named her son after a jihadi warrior of old...yeah full of remorse.
