Just skip past his comments, it makes reading these threads so much more pleasant. For the one comment of his that may contain a nugget of useful information there are ten that reek of self aggrandizement. An "ignore" option would be helpful.

I have this awful feeling that we are in danger of replicating the end of season experience of the last six matches under Dowie when we were relegated 2004/5 season.
I stand to be corrected but I seem to remember us losing 8 or more points in the final run in/games by losing winning leads with less than 10 minutes to go thus getting us relegated.
I seriously hope we can start concentrating more at the final stage of matches and 'park the bus or even the 'juggernaut' if necessary'

We were leading Saints 2-1 in our penultimate game with a minute or so left and they equalised. In the final game we were leading Charlton 2-1 and allowed them to equalise. I believe a win in either of those games would have saved us.

A reason for some optimism ....

I have just been going back over our results this season and although there is a view that we don't necessarily do well against the teams around us, the fact is, is that we haven't actually lost a game to any of the teams now in the bottom half of the table since our 0-1 defeat at the hands of Southampton back in September.

I can assure you I have given it a lot of thought. In fact I think about it regularly and it is all very depressing.

Go on then. Please list out your predictions for Huddersfield's remaining games. I'll tell you mine. They will get 2 draws and finish on 34 and be relegated.

At the end of the day all I have stated is that we will be relegated and of course I could be proved wrong.

I am the one being "Abused" by those who hurl vitriol on the basis that I have had the sheer temerity to assert that we will go down.

Can we please now return to the subject matter.Thank You.

No you are called out as you constantly claim we will go down without backing up why you think that other than saying "you've done the analysis" but then refusing to share that analysis. Lots of HOLers post their thoughts on the matter as well but are usually willing to admit they are simply going on gut feeling or they actually share their "analysis". No-one who has shared their "analysis" as far as I can see has predicted us going down. Only those who make predictions on gut or "typical Palace" have us going down. Of course that might happen, and odds of 9-1 reflect that quite well.

My analysis is that we have obtained results in recent matches about one goal worse than what we ought to have achieved because of s***e a) defending b) luck or c) referees. If this continues, we are more than one goal better than weed, than Watford, than West Brom and maybe about one goal better than Stoke. Leicester I'm not so sure. But that's ten points.

If you had cared to read my posts I have mentioned about the various factors I have taken into consideration so I don't feel the need to re-gurgitate what I have written.

Taking into consideration of course the remaining games of the relegation candidates and the respective points attained thus far I have us relegated but as we all know football can be unpredictable so one can never be 100% certain of the outcome.I understand the "Typical Palace" and "Gut Feel" aspects but these do not form the basis of my judgement.

In any event I have been categoric in my view of our prospects for a while and it has been well documented on HOL.Some posters have requested that I "Shut up" as my views are well known, hence there is no need to repeat them but alas some like yourself just wish to draw me back into the debate where I have to repeat my mantra.

The subject of this thread is the run in and the next person that prefers to have a dig at Willo rather than discuss the subject will be carded as I'm sick of all your childish behaviour..

As I've already said if you don't like Willo's posts then just ignore them
