Just skip past his comments, it makes reading these threads so much more pleasant. For the one comment of his that may contain a nugget of useful information there are ten that reek of self aggrandizement. An "ignore" option would be helpful.

We were leading Saints 2-1 in our penultimate game with a minute or so left and they equalised. In the final game we were leading Charlton 2-1 and allowed them to equalise. I believe a win in either of those games would have saved us.

A reason for some optimism .... I have just been going back over our results this season and although there is a view that we don't necessarily do well against the teams around us, the fact is, is that we haven't actually lost a game to any of the teams now in the bottom half of the table since our 0-1 defeat at the hands of Southampton back in September.

Goodness grief At the end of the day all I have stated is that we will be relegated and of course I could be proved wrong. I am the one being "Abused" by those who hurl vitriol on the basis that I have had the sheer temerity to assert that we will go down. Can we please now return to the subject matter.Thank You. My analysis is that we have obtained results in recent matches about one goal worse than what we ought to have achieved because of s***e a) defending b) luck or c) referees. If this continues, we are more than one goal better than weed, than Watford, than West Brom and maybe about one goal better than Stoke. Leicester I'm not so sure. But that's ten points.

Taking into consideration of course the remaining games of the relegation candidates and the respective points attained thus far I have us relegated but as we all know football can be unpredictable so one can never be 100% certain of the outcome.I understand the "Typical Palace" and "Gut Feel" aspects but these do not form the basis of my judgement. In any event I have been categoric in my view of our prospects for a while and it has been well documented on HOL.Some posters have requested that I "Shut up" as my views are well known, hence there is no need to repeat them but alas some like yourself just wish to draw me back into the debate where I have to repeat my mantra. The subject of this thread is the run in and the next person that prefers to have a dig at Willo rather than discuss the subject will be carded as I'm sick of all your childish behaviour.. As I've already said if you don't like Willo's posts then just ignore them
