I can help you there Willo,if we are relegated we will return to The Championship, however there is a distinct possibility that we will stay up for a 6th Season in The Premiership. Really ? Never worked that out.How very remiss of me.

This kind of thing is my only complaint about the way we sometimes appear to deal with transfer targets.

Indeed, a continuation of our current form should see us 'Over the line' but we might not be able to sustain this.As you mentioned, a couple of our signings haven't played recently (Since Nov & Dec) and if we have further injuries, these players are called upon and found wanting, there will be an almighty outcry amongst our supporters about our transfer activity. As I have mentioned, WBA,Brighton, Newcastle,Swansea have all signed players who will either play in the first team straight away or will be challenging for a place based on their previous experience.Don't think ours are in that category. Let's just look at transfera into teams around us...Bournemouth bought no one.

Your not really applying a fair comparison. Inter-Nordic transfers for an untested player will always appear peanuts compared with buying into the premier league with its prices wholly inflated by TV money and the filter-down effect of mega transfers within premier European clubs. As to whether Sorloth meets his value, at today's prices circa 10 goals and 10 assists a season will probably do it [or something?].

I think it was as simple as he was our second choice and when it became apparent that Guaita wasn't going to get over the line in this window we turned our attention to Ronnow but too late. To be honest buying both wouldn't be a bad shout but it may be that they thought Amadou was going to go through and money was an issue, so they were juggling balls and unfortunately dropped them! That was the point I tried to make earlier but apparently I was being naive. It is apparent Ronnow wanted to join, we had tried to get him in the summer (again too late), Guiata deal was always going nowhere so why oh why leave approaching Brondby to the last knockings when we had a whole month (several if you include the attempt in the summer)

I think the signings have been fine and it's nice to see this kind of approach to transfers of signing young prospects. Sorloth sounds like he's going straight into the match squad so hopefully he can get some minutes on Sunday Still massively disappointing, and extremely poor from the board to not sign a keeper. IMO, only Watford and Newcastle have a worse first choice goalkeeper than us in the league. Also, with the Sako injury confirmed today, if Wilf or Townsend get injured, we have no wing cover which is utterly baffling. Watford have two decent wingers now on loan in Carrilo and Deulofeu, so surely we could have looked at a similar deal for a similar player from abroad.

Based on what? Based on a gut feel. Holland is a better league than Denmark and Jorgensen (unlike our guy) has cut it there. You can find ways to justify most things but the bottom line for me is that 16m or 17m looks too high for a player with an unexceptional (and VERY short) scoring record playing for a top side in a third tier league. But only gut feel and I won't pretend otherwise. just feel 7.5m up front rising to 12m all in sounds more realistic.
