The one handed save, down to his right, in the second half was a blinder. I thought he f*cked up for the second goal, walking around at half time everyone was blaming Dann. But that one handed save is what he’s always been about , great shot stopper , when he’s got time to think, not so good. Still the best we’ve got though.

Probably about right. Bollocking required for the two of them but no point crying further over spilt milk. Make sure they do a job next week.

Hennessey might not have made that error but he probably wouldn't have made that save either.

whyyyy???

the position we're in, there's no need for it..... sakho trying to dummy & embarrass every striker every time he receives the ball when hes the only defender left......

speroni trying to embarrass that bell end niasse, not smacking the ball towards pickford's goal mouth with seconds remaining in the first half

hodgson trying to to break his neck trying to catch every ball which goes out of play.....

no need for any of it, play it safe guys........

Agree. And Dann's back header in the first half.

Sorry is this the one where he passed the ball to Dann when Dann had about 2/3 metres between him and an Everton player

I'd say an acceptable pass for a premier league defender which I'd say Dann is

Unfortunately he didn't just hoff it himself after Speroni had the luck with the dummy

Or is it elsewhere?

Both at fault with the goal - Speroni should have smashed it after the dummy and Dann had time to control and pass or smash it upfield. The fault started with Speroni but then continued with Dann. Perhaps Dann not being prepared for the pass makes him less guilty?

Agree I thought they were both at fault. Dann should do better , but why put him on offer? Right at the end of the half, it’s up there with what Antonio not staying in the corner.

I am with you BG. The pass from Speroni wasn’t great but nothing special. It was Dann dallying that caused the goal.

Well Speroni should have hoofed the ball upfield or out.
Don't blame Dann especially if you came on this forum and blamed Hennessey for the ROI goal against Wales.

As I've said before double standards on here when it come to the goal keepers. Speroni is a legend but now he is liability.

Speroni’s error.
The save later would not have been needed,we would of gone in at H/T 2-1 up,the crowd would of been up and the game would have played out differently.

Not in my case. I have no axe to grind on either keeper. Neither are Premier standard. But when during the whole game we were playing out from the back, what Speroni did was in keeping. Mind you, I thought he took a daft risk in dummying it just beforehand.

were nowhere near cut adrift, 30 points come may will be enough

other teams down the bottom dont have the quality we have, pains me to say this but we actually liok far more dangerous without big bentekkers on the pitch, its like we actually have to think about what were doing rather than just “pump it up to bentekkers”
