Harsh. He's not a fraud just not self-aware enough and too ego driven to admit a few years back that he is not up to the task of lifting Palace to a level he thought he could. He is a big part of the problem at the club now and most definitely not a solution. His Hol radio interview confirmed if for me not that it needed re-confirming.

He's been riding his luck for years and bathing in the praise but he's been found out now.

Spot on - Parish & co saved the club. He is a passionate supporter who made and admitted the FDB mistake. Lets all get behind the lads we have the quality to finish mid table.

To all the F**k wits knocking Parish.....Remember this without Parish & Co we would have gone out of business. Get behind the lads, if you can't don't turn up just to knock.

He has owner syndrome and a massive ego . He wants to run the club from top to bottom himself , It seems he listens just to himself and not the people he employs ,his judgement in appointments has been nothing short of shambolic.
Any rich person can own a football club, but that does not mean they know what is required to make a success of it on the pitch He needs to leave the football decisions to the professionals
Because he was slow to react in the transfer window we find our selves with no second striker , totally down to him , two loaned players that will not be with us next season , so will need to be replaced in July .
I support Palace , but I know longer can support Parish and this board of directors .
He has been found out , but his ego will not let him admit it .
Time to move on Parish

To put it in perspective, Bentenke scored 15 league goals last season which was the first time since Andy Johnson we had a player score double figures in the PL.
Have a look at some of the big money strikers in this league and he doesn't look so bad (eg the dutch guy at Spurs, Slimani at Leicester and, until today, Niassie at Everton). The issue isn't Bentenke, it's Parish's apparent decision that the best way to do business is on the last day. Hopefully he will have learned that this is too risky.

SP has been brilliant for the club and we all should be thanking him and his mates for what they did. But, the club is far too big now and he needs help as he is way out of his depth. Mistake after mistake is going to cost us big time. I am always very cautious what I wish for as we have done so well in the last 6 years but it could be time for more experience to come in. We shall see!!

Although I agree on what's the issue, you seem to forget every other time Parish has done this. It's obviously going to be very damaging at som point. Don't leave the last day deals on positions you have one player. Others okay, but last day? That's when clubs or agents like Niasse's make the tactic fail.

People who want to do it all themselves hit a ceiling. Parish hit his at least a year ago.

So you're saying he done well until a year ago, and now all bets off you want him out...

Nice, wouldn't like to work for you Rudi

Obviously he's made mistakes, but what about the things he got right?

Arguably our four best players this season may turn out to be, Sakho, RLC, TFM, Zaha... All signed contracts this window. But lets wash over that and only concentrate on the things he got wrong.

Manager turned out to be a bad call, so he gave him the bullet. New manager seems to be what we need, no? Many many people hoped frank would work out well, when it was obviious to parish this wouldnt be the case he showed him the door. Didn't f*** about, four games and he was out. Personally I see that as a strong decision.

so really other issues?

Failing to sign a keeper and a striker. bang to rights that should have been sorted.

But really thats only two things.

Just a bit of perspective over what the guy really has done so badly wrong.
