As for the sentiments above, I don't accept for a minute that referees are "In awe" of the big four and seek to make decisions in their favour. As for all this "Inconsistency" argument, I have already made umpteen comments on HOL about this and I really don't need to repeat myself over and over again. If I was a troll I would probably delight in such regurgitation to satisfy my desire but alas I am far from being one. I can't see how any body can blame Mandanda for the goals conceded yesterday especially the two from the corners. The tactics palace adopt at corners puts the pressure on before the ball is even put in the box.

A few points: 1. We still need a decent keeper. One great save from Mandanda but he was at fault for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th goals. You can't stay on your line for headers from 6 yards out. 2. Liverpool pressed us high up the pitch yet we sat back on the halfway line or beyond in the first half and tried to play as an away team. 3. Watch their corners - hit with pace so if someone does get a touch it will fly in at speed. Our corners are floated so the player meeting it has to generate all the power themselves. 4. Now 8 out of 10 games where we've conceded first. 5. Can't believe he took off McArthur with 5 mins to go and brought on Campbell. 6. Disappointed with Benteke - you expect a bit more effort from someone who cost £27m. 7. Need a decent CM to replace Ledley. make your mind up. Point one or point three, not both.

Mondonda has done well with one on ones, his reflexes and adjustment look good. Set pieces are different because if the manager has a reliance on defenders being capable of dealing with crosses and they're not, it looks as if you're stuck on you're line. Zaha is probably responsible for their first one, lost track of the full back, after doing really well in tracking him. A fully fit Dann, blocks that rather than deflects it. Keeper has no chance. A beautifully created goal, some amazing passing and positioning. Second one, is Scott Dann, even if the keeper had come for it, Dann 99% of the time is winning that or getting up. Again though its a beautifully worked goal. Third one, Tompkins loses his man, and there is absolutely no pressure on the header. If the Keeper comes for that, he's not getting near it - The Keeper impressively gets a hand on it, but the power is immense due to a free header. However, the Liverpool players do an excellent job in creating the space and time for the free header and controlling Tompkins. Fourth One, Dann and Tompkins too far apart, caught out for pace. But in truth, its a beautifully timed pass and perfect finish. As much as it galls me to say it, we were outclassed, but did really well to keep ourselves in it for so long. Better team won.

Hennessey isn't s**t, but he's most certainly been a liability over the last season for us. The only reason he remained our number 1 is that McCarthy was worse.
