For a country of 250m+ and it chooses two muppets called Trump and Clinton who should arguably both be serving time in prison e.g. tax evasion; embezzlement etc. Wealth and power breeds corruption and here we have it in spadefuls. Yes - I think the time has come to take back the thirteen colonies.

Trump accused of groping women. Perhaps he is modelling himself on JFK?

Trump, from climate change denier, to simple denier. Although in fairness the child sex offence looks as ropey as a poor hangmans noose.

But not, it seem, as thick as someone who doesn't appear to understand the false accusation within his own scaremongering bullsh1t post: "Precisely. We were going to be at war by now according to some of them." Which 'some of them' was that then? Anyway. Going round in circles. Back to 'the presidents' I wrote it, I know what it meant. You can't comprehend sarcasm without a wink emoji. Try and think like an adult in future. Then I won't have to explain your miscomprehensions several times over.

Let's just hope it's not a repeat of 2000, when it went into overtime.

Vastly ahead in the polls - especially in swing states, against an opponent who's managing to alienate his own party support. Still, a month roughly to go, plenty of time for the Democrats to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I expect Trump to become increasingly bizarre over the next few weeks.

I fail to see how people can take it seriously when he brags about doing something, then people come forward and say "yeah, he did that to me" and he calls them a liar. Meanwhile, all of this is putting meat on that thin bone of a child sex accusation. If nothing else, his mouth in front of an open mic hasn't served him well when he boasted about hanging about with a (now) convicted paedo and saying (paraphrasing) that Epstein always had lots of beautiful girls around and a taste for the younger ones.

It's looking like an avalanche ("landslide" doesn't come close to describing it), so we will be spared any nonsense if this holds true. If it's close, he'll fight it endlessly in the courts. Interesting sidebar: with the Supreme Court down to 8 Justices, they may not be able to render a decision if a case runs all the way up the system to them. In the event of a tie, the decision of the federal appellant court stands, which means that the result of the election could come down to the decision of a single appeals court judge. Democracy at work, folks.

On Thursday, respondents had Trump ahead by 1 point - 44 to 43 over Clinton. On Friday, that reversed with Clinton ahead by 4 points. By Sunday, Clinton was ahead by 19. NINETEEN! The only thing occurring over that time span was the tape, and it moved the needle by 20 points in Clinton's favour. Now, it's just one poll in one state, but it shows clearly the power of this scandal; and it's only getting worse. Democrats up and down the country are tying their Republican opponent to Trump as they smell a whiff of a massive blue wave.

The 2000 SCOTUS verdict was such bulls*** that even the 5 Justices in favour stipulated that it was never to be used as a precedent going forward. Without it, the Iraq war doesn't happen; there's an ocean of blood on those 5 pairs of hands. Edited by Ray in Houston (13 Oct 2016 4.15pm)
