Having watched the Blackburn v Swansea game on MOTD, he is not what we need, plus his goal should not have stood, he was climbing all over the back of the defender, so it should have been a Swansea freekick. I thought you were way above judging a player on one televised game?

What's judgmental about that, what I saw of him against a very poor 10 man Swansea side, that was 4" inches shorter than him, leaves me to think he has nothing to offer that we don't have already. What surprises me is it took Blackburn 70mins to capitalize on their numerical advantage.

There are rumours that Blackburn are after Hunt, if that is the case then that may be the missing part of jigsaw. They have a transfer ban and can not afford his wages I suggest that a loan of him and Kwesi Appiah with them paying a small percent of wages could happen. Both are unlikely to get game time at present but with the uncertainty over Ward we will not want to sell Hunt

Crystal Palace and West Brom told Blackburn striker won't be sold for less than £5m Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion have both had offers refused by Blackburn for the striker and are refusing to up their bids. Gestede, 26, is desperate to move to the top-flight this month, but talkSPORT have been told that Blackburn are standing firm and will not sell for less for less than £5million. The Frenchman has scored 12 goals in the Championship for Rovers this season and was on target in the FA Cup win over Swansea on Saturday. Gary Bowyer is desperate to keep the former Cardiff man at Ewood Park but it remains to be seen whether Palace or West Brom will go back in for him.
