If you were to take all the stories of transfers in all the papers over the course of a week, only a tiny fraction would have any truth in the details.

It is clear we have made contact and it may well be that Burley's advice to be cautious is motivated by a desire to keep the hype down, but my worry is that people will get frustrated over something that was never going to happen.
