Roy looked really tired in his latest interview. Would be a slap in the face for him if Wilf left, also if we don't replace AWB. I don't believe he deserves that. His face on the home page picture of last nights game says it all, cant blame him if he gets his slippers out

Again, I’m talking about pressure as bids get closer to his value, not the 50% shy of £80 mil one Arsenal tried it on with. You’re ignoring that possibility and player power being in existence. But we can all pretend when we don’t have to face these factors, and with other matters to address as well, whether now or in the medium to long term. You’re looking at the price in isolation like it’s a house. He is worth more to us than money.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I just want this done now. Somebody please pay us the money and take him so we can get on with the rest of our lives. If Luka goes too and the replacements are McCarthy Ayew and Jenkinson then we are seriously cattle trucked.

He is worth more to us than money. 100% without him now AWB has gone we essentially have a team of mercenaries. That said I do think a few generally do care and aren’t just here for the pay cheque.

He is worth more to us than money. Do you think Zaha, his team of pr@ts and Arsenal care about that as their bids go higher, as does the pressure on him to go? I’d prefer it like you that we get a huge fee for him but it’s only likely to happen if currently 1 of 4 clubs are interested. Man City, PSG, Barca or Real Madrid. Anyone else would aim to drive a good deal out of us with him itching to go rather than just slap down Parish’s asking fee.

But Roy does say he doesn’t know if he has spoken to club and told them he wants to leave. If you wanted to leave you would tell the chairman not the manager. But you would assume that the Chairman might have told Roy yesterday (or Roy might have called Parish to ask...). Assuming Roy was telling the full truth in that interview too...
George Courtney, the World Cup referee, everyone is looking at him. When will he blow....? |

Wilf should post the photo of himself in a spurs shirt as a boy. He’s just confirming what I think of most footballers. Life must be really empty when you’re seeking attention from strangers. Pretty sad. The Arsenal tv fans commenting in broken English is cringeworthy. When Arsenal get serious then business gets serious. Until then they’re delusional and embarrassing.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle i may be in the minority but i really dont see him leaving. considering the market & sell on fee £80m is reasonable, that would leave us with £60m for him. we are in the fantastic position that any team that actually needs him cant afford him...unless psg come sell neymar & come sniffing, then the price is £100m. i am confident he will still be at the club come everton game.

You’re looking at the price in isolation like it’s a house. If teams are willing to part this amount for Maguire then Wilf is worth at least that. If any top 6 club is in need of some width then it is the Arse. Wish they just put this amount down and we can all move on. For us we can restructure the squad and attempt to move on. COYP !!
