Can you imagine what it's going to be like if Trump wins a second term? It'll be like level Gigatrillion 96 plus.

It won’t be until you understand my point. This isn’t going to be over. This virus will come back until its replaced by a new one. Rinse and repeat. Viruses don't emerge in predicable patterns with no gaps between them! There will almost certainly be another at some time but not one in our lifetimes has created as big a crisis as this has. So when this one ends will be the time to reflect, analyse and deal with all the lessons we have learned, and failed to learn, from previous experiences. Making political waves, as Trump is doing, serves no-one but himself. If you saw his press conference yesterday you might have thought he had suddenly turned statesman as he was controlled and reasonable. He must though have been working to a script because today he is right back stirring the pot again. He is encouraging protests in several states with Democratic governors and some in the USA fear he is using this crisis to prime the far right so they will rise up up to keep him in power. It sounds far fetched and I hope it is, but what he is doing isn't helping anyone at all.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

Nothing.

He didn’t create this virus. China did. Get over it.

If people reliably learned lessons in life we would only have had one series of Crossroads.

Will no one think of the hipsters during this difficult time? You try and find organic ethically sourced Quinoa......It's hell out there. Edited by Stirlingsays (18 Apr 2020 12.55am)
