Like the idea that every thing has to be someone's "fault". Symptomatic of the kind of control issues we see on here with people who think they know what Parish should do better than he does, can't wait until a process which takes time completes, and expect progress updates every half an hour. However, since you ask: 1. Pulis (forced us into a panicked appointment which was not likely to work out). HTH. Edited by chateauferret (15 Jun 2017 12.18pm)

So, both SA and TP were bad choices then?

Thank goodness you aren't my boss. These are people we're talking about, not machines. Who at the time and with the knowledge then available would have been a better choice than a) Pulis, b) Pardew or c) Allardyce? All three kept us in the Premier League and Pardew was removed when it became clear that he couldn't do that any more. If you think Pulis' behaviour was Parish's fault then you don't understand human nature. If you think that Pardew would turn out as badly as he did then you must believe in clairvoyance. And if you think Parish could have expected the changes in the outside world that would cause Allardyce to resign then you're just a fool. Edited by chateauferret (15 Jun 2017 12.43pm)

It's a shame that this long drawn out new manager saga seems to be pitting Palace fans against each other as in all honesty none of us know what is going on and that refers to the "Parish is doing everything right" brigade as well as the "Parish is dithering around" faction.

So give the man the benefit of the doubt; nobody could argue that he hasn't earned that much trust since 2010. Otherwise it's as useful as booing, swearing and throwing bog rolls at Wayne whenever the other lot score. Edited by chateauferret (15 Jun 2017 12.58pm)

What on earth is that to do with "Manual Pellergrini being in talks at Palace" Haha..apologies it was with regards to his earlier statement about people hiring individuals that then turn out to be bad calls for situations outside of their control, being their fault.

Edited by chateauferret (15 Jun 2017 12.58pm) Right behind Steve and the board and trust their judgment to appoint the best candidate, based on their actions since saving the club in 2010.
