It was only not a choice for the emergency services. Everyone else could say no. That is why take up percentages were quoted, which were never 100%.

Care home workers were told they had to have one or face dismissal. One of our beloved posters on here actually stated he would sack any employee who refused to be vaccinated

Not really since it specifically says
"ONS data as described here are different from the figures on COVID-19 deaths published on the government's COVID-19 dashboard which shows 'deaths within 28 days of a positive test'".
Different data = different outcome.

Produced for different purposes. You suggested they died because of Covid when they clearly did so in an accident and that's what the doctor would have put on the death certificate in such circumstances.

I agree with you.

It's best to just ignore said nonsense poster and blank their posts.

Maybe you too need to read this:-

Mark Steyn and “excellent” are not words that sit comfortably together, in too many places.

He has a somewhat checkered reputation.

So has Hunter Biden but he “ just needs help”

This is what that person has always done they have no interest in the truth.

I stopped paying attention not worth it just ignore them.

The vaccines was pitched to prevent people requiring hospital treatment they then flopped around came up with other things one claiming it would stop transmission by a %.

The other poster knows full well they refuse to believe anything years ago I picked apart everything they would say using science but still wouldn't have any of it.

The person doesn't even understand you have to do proper controlled trials and "risk" is cause & effect statement.

I regret to inform this is more misunderstanding and misinformation. I have no recollection of ever having my position "picked apart" by anyone! How could it be when it's factual and based on real and not pseudo-science?

I suggest this is read so that a proper understanding of the trials and verification process is made:-

The development was very swift but there were no compromises made on ensuring safety.

Those who continue to suggest otherwise are not being honest.

They were still produced and quoted. All part of the scare tactics.

Steyn probably does too. I don't think he has been too well.

They were, and sometimes undoubtedly misused by those trying to encourage compliance. Which was, of itself, an honourable act.

What it doesn't mean is that the cause of death was misrecorded on a death certificate.

Undoubtedly misused but still honourable. Brilliant.

It’s easy to be scornful but I suspect every government is “economical with the truth” and so have most of us on occasions when we are convinced that to do so will produce an outcome that benefits those we care for and about. Generally known as “white lies”.
