I thought we were a little unfortunate not to win at West Ham.

Yes I’d add that one in there too

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Just my opinion, but I don't think that will happen.

I see us gaining enough points to stay up with Roy still in charge, and then no new contract offered after that.

Many other managers could also get us enough points to get us over the line this season. Why settle for the crap Roy is currently serving up every week until then?

Let's give a new guy a chance and give all the players a shot in the arm.

To balance this all managers from 2015 have not solved this. Partially because we have set teams up to his strengths.

As I have said he is not the only one. He is however the only present Manager and without knowing the facts most of that record would be under Roy’s tenure I would imagine taking into account he’s the longest serving manager we’ve had in the PL.

Anyone at the moment.

I think we should break the bank for Benitez.

If not Dyche, Howe, Coleman, Wagner, Franks, Cooper, Freedman, Cahill, Lampard, Terry, Blanc, Parker, Gerrard, Pearson, Shakespeare, Carrick plus loads of others.

I know all of them have question marks, but there is an issue that Premier League management jobs go to a small circle of managers with experience but have failed on a number of occasions like Bruce, Hughes, Hodgson, Pullis, Pardew etc. The list of jobs some of them have had are a real slap in the face to other managers who've never been given an opportunity.

We've got 29 points. They only need 9 from 14 games. If they are pants swap again at the end of the season and we are in a no worse position that where we currently are.

Almost gives us two bites of the cherry to find a replacement if we do it early. Who ever we pick is only likely to last two years before they either get sacked or a bigger club poaches them.

Managers do influence , things , that’s their only real reason for being involved.
But they are never in possession of magic powers. Even though some like to think they are. At the end of every situation they are never really in control of what happens on the pitch.
Klopp, must be wondering how to get the majgic back right now, Jose, just can’t seem to find the magic switch. The fella at Arsenal, has another group of talent, hardly above average, loads of tactical experience and input. But a team that isn’t up to the job. I have said it before , but Roy should not have stayed so long, it was only ever going to bring him down.

With seemingly so few candidates out there for a club in our position and with our resources, that will always be the question when Roy does go. Thankfully that isn’t a decision for us fans. Maybe we ‘ll just hang on to Roy until he chooses to jack it all in or Palace drop so far down the league that it should be easier to find a suitable replacement.

And over to Selhurst Park where manager Roy Hodgson celebrates his 90th birthday as Crystal Palace welcome today’s visitors Accrington.

To new manager or not to new manager that is the question ?

Well I think Hodgson can deliver the points we need and my guess is that Parish thinks so too.

Last thing we need, and I really don't see it happening, is to make change managers twice.

I don't think the majority of the names you propose are realistic in many cases. I would say more than just question marks !

There are question marks, but no more so than Roy.

Shakespeare would make an excellent manager, that speech in Henry V is the stuff of legend!
Compare that to some duffer going on about an astronaut and a monkey.
