Look out for Songs of Praise today. Will there be an absence of some smug presenter. ?

OK, agreed. As for the clamour I'm afraid that is standard media practice the other outlets are trying to get the BBC to out this person rather than naming him themself.

The BBC can't cry foul over this because they have done the same in the past and no doubt will do so in the future. I'm afraid it's all part of the dog eat dog mentality of that industry, relishing another company's discomfort and then going all holier than thou when it's them.

The BBC has had great fun over the phone hacking scandal putting the boot into the tabloids who are now getting their own back.

Good points.

Only because Blair forced kids to stay at school. Prior to this 16 was an age thought to be adult enough to see right from wrong. I mean you could get married at 16 (well from feb this year it’s 18 ) and drive at 17.
Is return post expensive?

Could this possibly mean there will no more 'Snowman' at xmas?

Ha!

Who knows, but from what I'm hearing I think he's in the clear....he'll be walking in the air about it.

Still, it's all just second hand information until it's officially revealed.

I will say that I support the facts being established before that.....we don't want another 'Cliff Richard' situation.

However, this has apparently been known about for some time. If so that tells you quite a lot about how the BBC treats this stuff.

No, but pretty bad considering the circumstances.

I expect if this were Mick Jagger the reaction would still rightly be disapproving but different. When someone behaves so differently in private from their public persona then it does end up destroying them......Imagine the Pope doing the same and while it isn't illegal it's just not compatible with the role they took on.

And if the stuff about crack cocaine is true then just another layer of bad.

It's an odd law as whilst one can shag a 17 year old one can't take explicit pictures of them

I have said many, many times that the BBC and the Metropolitan police are riddled with Freemasonry, i have made a study of it, and to pardon the expression, Arse covering is the norm.

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

i have some experience of Freemasonry. I considered it quite a moral-based organisation. To suggest the organisation itself was responsible/complicit in concealing/non-disclosure of evidence regarding this matter would not be my first thought. Rather, like-minded people have sought to preserve/enhance their careers or bank accounts.
The police are now assessing any evidence that might be available to them. I suspect any ar5e-covering will be done solely by the BBC,...again
