I promise you that the Sun will still come up tomorrow.Try to put things into some sort of perspective and don't assume that you will live longer than me because judging by the way you worry about things I wouldn't be so sure. How's your blood pressure?

You clearly have had very little adversity in your life if you go into a tail spin so easily.

I have had a great deal of adversity in my life, the list would be long and boring.

I just have (mostly) chosen not to bring that down upon myself.

I do not assume I shall live longer than you, I hope my children will.

But my blood pressure is good

I am a realist, realistically this was an incredibly foolish move. Maybe we shall recover from it but my opinion is that is more of a hope than a strong likelihood. So now we have to work very hard and also hope. It didn't have to be this way.

Brexit is a positive and will be regarded as a positive long term. It will be difficult due to the EU's reaction but in the long term this country will succeed and govern itself.

Believers in the nation state all around Europe are rejoicing and the federalists and globalists have had this coming: undemocratic bully boys.

Viva democracy.

Daft rhetoric.

You have to look at the economics. Without money there are no options. We are going to deeply impact our economy. But hey, we can be proud of our crippled countries (Wales and England that is, Scotland will certainly clear off).

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

I think the daft rhetoric is yours frankly.

Economics is all for some but very very obviously not everyone.

People who talk this country down and make wild predictions about our economic future are arrogant in their self perceived sureness.

I personally doubt Scotland can join the EU without taking on the Euro and I just can't see them voting for that nor the EU wanting to take another 'money drain' on when they have just lost a main contributor. Still, if Scotland vote to go and the EU want them....then they have my best wishes as a believer in democracy.

In five years time the EU, if it even exists, will look very different and your post will look suitably silly.

Indeed.
Wouldn't have been instigated if 'Remain' had won with 52% of the vote !

One lad's view..

"Don't call us 'bad losers'. Not today. Because this hurts.

Don't call us bad losers when we have bad winners. Nigel Farage, who said this morning 'We won it without a shot being fired', a mere week after Jo Cox was shot on Farage's most controversial day of the campaign.

Don't call us bad losers when you have Boris Johnson suddenly saying there is 'no rush' to leave the EU, when it was so important to him a day ago. (Yet David Cameron's resignation still seems important to him. Hmmm.)

Don't call us bad losers when you have given fuel to the far right across the continent. Marine Le Penn now has a union jack as her profile pic. We are the pride of fascists everywhere.

....what many of us feel will result in the fracturing of Europe, the crashing of the economy, an increase in xenophobia and division, and all that comes with that.

Don't call us bad losers when we have genuine concerns that many of the people who most wanted this foul-named thing called a Brexit -the angry, the hurt, the disenfranchised, the unemployed, the vulnerable - have been conned into thinking Farage and Johnson are the anti-establishment voice of the people. (Spoiler alert: they're the voice of power, of money, of self-interest, of themselves.)

Don't call us bad losers. Just call us very worried indeed."

Very bad losers indeed. Seem to have about as much interest in democracy as the institution this country has just ditched.

Connecting Farage to Jo Cox's death is disgraceful.

Where did Boris say we were leaving 'right away'? The process can take years.

Bad losers.

It's a strange democracy where 27 million eligible voters didn't vote for Brexit by either not turning up or voting for 'Remain' but 17 million did.

Also, it could have literally been won by 1 vote out of 34 million cast which is plainly insane.

Referendums are flawed as now 48% of Brits are on the losing side.

But, of course, I would be saying this

Michael, the In voters have been bad losers. Incredibly condescending and bitter.

Your (the remain group) message wasn't convincing and you don't understand people's concerns.
