Ray Lewiston looked shell shocked at the performance. No shouting not a good sign.

Agree with this. Most of the goals we've conceded recently have been down to defensive frailty, individual mistakes and inability to deal with crosses and balls into the box rather than us being picked apart. That said I would still try to stiffen things up by going 4-3-3.

Yes we can accept the players are in the twilight of their careers, that also means there’s a bell of a lot of experience in that team and they should not be producing these performances. For me the players are not playing for him any longer. Perhaps the drab, outdated football has got to the players now too. How about the players show some pride and effort in spite of who ever is manager. It's called earning your salary or maybe it's a novel idea for footballers!!

Something has gone very badly wrong, that’s so obvious , but this set of players, has to be in question every bit as much as the management. The players must be pretty p****ed off with the tactics now and clearly aren't enjoying their football. The defence isn't playing well, but at least 2 of the goals came from PVA - when we have eze playing wide left and 2 centre forwards, we need a left back to defend, not play higher up the pitch than eze. Wr have 2 defensive midfielders who get overrun every game. We have 2 centre forwards who although are c**p get no service at all. When you're not enjoying your football and are frustrated by tactics and team mates, it's difficult to play well.

Just before the start of the second half, I noticed Mr Hodgson and Dave Reddington making their way back to the dugout together, presumably from the dressing room and Ray Lewington was already standing in the technical area. I was just pondering as to whether Ray Lewington actually went into the dressing room at the break or perhaps he left it before Messrs Hodgson and Reddington?

Make no mistake, we are heading into another losing streak like last season. I cannot see us beating Fulham, West Brom, Sheffield utd. We are stuck with our squad now until the end of the season, and something has to change. The management team is the only thing we can change.

I used to really like Roy sitting up shop when we went 3/0 against Man City or Liverpool. I did not expect this approach against Burnley.

The difference this season compared to previous ones is that when we've lost we've generally deserved it, when we've drawn we've often been somewhat lucky, and when we've won it's also often felt somewhat fortuitous. We got off to a good start against Saints and Man Utd, but that was clearly down to us having a proper preseason and those two teams not having decided to prepare properly. When I think across the season it really seems amazing that we have 29 points. By contrast Brighton have been unlucky not to have more points and were it not for an impotent frontline earlier in the season would likely already be above us. They have shown you can transition from an ultra defensive team (like under Hughton) to a more attractive style without breaking the bank and it's galling that it is our biggest rivals that are the ones achieving that. With regard to Copper I was reading comments from Swansea fans who say he is tactically clueless and doesn't use his subs. If true that sounds very concerning if the club really are interested in him.

This is the team we have become.
