Just read St Maxim has signed a new contract doubling his wages to £70k people. When he signed he agreed to £35k, how do we get it so wrong? Naivety or incompetence?

I don't wish to partake in that debate, however does it really matter whom we sign ? Players who were signed to supposedly offer an attacking threat have either not started straight away or have started and then been benched.We could sign Ronaldo and Messi and we would still play the 'Hodgson way'.I am not actually sure they would be thrust into the team from the start. I would literally go to the bank and pay for a ticket to anywhere those two feel like going if it would get them off our books. I feel sick thinking Benteke and Sakho get 100k a week. They get more in a week than I get in two years.
