Oh the old politics of envy chestnut. Usually used by those who agree with those who support those that engage in the politics of greed. Usually? maybe but not always and doesn't mean it isn't true. Corbyn has done nothing (so far) to assure reasonably comfortable people that they will not be hit hard if he comes to power. particularity those who are asset rich through chance. i.e. those who have bought their own house in the S East

James (O' Brien) read a portion of the book, written by Adolf Hitler, saying it was actually a part of the Home Secretary's speech. Speaking on his LBC show, he said: "I want to read you something from Amber Rudd's speech yesterday. 'For the state must draw a sharp line of distinction between those who, as members of the nation, are the foundation and support of its existence and greatness, and those who are domiciled in the state, simply as earners of their livelihood there.' "Very important that firms declare how much of their workforce is foreign because they're just domiciled in this state simply as earners of their livelihood there. They're not members of the nation, they're not members of the foundation and the support of the nation's existence and greatness. You have to have a sharp line of distinction between those who are members of the nation and those who are just domiciled here as earners of their livelihoods. "No, that wasn't from Amber Rudd's speech yesterday, I'm really sorry, that's from Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler. "A sharp line of distinction between those who as members of the nation are the foundation and support of its existence and those who are domiciled in the state simply as earners of their livelihood here. Do you recognise that need for a sharp distinction? Do you feel it? Do you applaud that today? "Do you cheer it because you've heard some meaningless anecdote about plasterer whose wages have gone up by roughly the same percentage over the last ten or fifteen years that almost everybody else in the British workforce has? You see the need for that sharp line of distinction? Are you going to swallow that today? "A sharp line of distinction between those who are the foundation and support of the nation's existence and greatness. And those, like almost everybody I've encountered so far today, who were just domiciled in the states simply as earners of their livelihood here. What do you think will come next? "If you're going to have a sharp line of distinction between people born here and people who just work here, you're enacting chapter two of Mein Kempf. Strange times."

Lets look at Corbyn's press release again to give you a chance to tell us what is wrong with it. “Drawing up lists of foreign workers won’t stop unscrupulous employers undercutting wages in Britain. Shutting the door to international students won’t pay young people’s tuition fee debts, and ditching doctors from abroad won’t cut NHS waiting lists." Well you've already intimated it's foreigners coming here that are at fault for exploitative employers. Will stopping international students help people towards uni fees, or could it possibly drive up course costs as there will be less income for the universities. Do you not think that stopping foreign students attending may have a negative effect on british university's highly held esteem abroad? Will removing foreign doctors help waiting lists? Doesn't matter the bloke who wrote this is scruffy and despite spending years and years campaigning he just wants to be part of the elite. “The Conservatives will instead foster division and discrimination in our workplaces and communities. “Once again, they are making false promises on immigration they can’t deliver. Instead of turning people against each other, ministers should take action now to deal with the real impact of migration." Is all the rhetoric about ridding us of foreigners not a form of fascism? Isn't it leading us towards an us and them No dogs, no blacks no irish attitude (Funny it's this sort of attitude that is a 70's throwback- yet Corbyn is labelled thus) Doesn't the drip drip news of 'it's all foreigners fault' lead to a rise of hate crime against non Brits? Soft fascism again. False promises about reducing immigration - exactly like Cameron said he wanted to do but immigration figures went up. Nope because the bloke who wrote it is a 70's throwback. “They should stop the abuse of migrant labour to undercut pay and conditions, which would reduce numbers" see above.
You don't think areas with high levels of immigration should be supported just because the papers all say he is unelectable when really they are s*** scared he might upset the status quo?

This sheet will be detached from your application form as soon as we receive it. The information you supply will be used only for monitoring purposes and will remain strictly confidential and is not a requirement of application. Thank you for taking the time to complete this form.
A whole world away from (to my mind anyway) the Tory's plan for weeding out foreigners. Edited by nickgusset (05 Oct 2016 6.40pm)
