There are numerous videos of Ukrainians murdering and committing war crimes against Russians.

Russians are also responsible for the same behaviour. I will look into any action like that and give my honest opinion. I won't take sides on evil, as humans commit it regardless of which uniform they wear.

Whoever does it are disgusting human beings and I truly hope that they meet justice.

If your media is only willing to highlight and report one side of that story then you need to ask yourself how much do they actually care about these terrible actions.

It would appear to be a rather important part of the story that one country has launched a massive and broad invasion into another. The 'both sides are bad' stuff should factor that reality in. I've seen no-one claim that Ukranians are incapable of committing war crimes (it happens in all wars). I've seen multiple adamant that Russia hasn't, or attempt to validiate their invasion, or view Ukranians being given means to defend themselves in a massively negative light. Russia's whole 'special operation' is a war crime.

The fact that Russia started an invasion has been made many many many times and also by myself. Let's state this once again, I believe Russia started this war...and while I disagree with the argument that it's without prior cause amid terrible western policy I don't diverge from that position.

But the idea that this should 'factor in' to the deliberate torture and murder of human beings.

I'm happy to put clear water between me and that concept.

No, that should not factor into war crimes and frankly I find that attitude incredible.

You know, let's drive this knife into a pow's eye and through into the brain but because we don't support that side.....let's just worry less about it....in fact let's just ignore it.

Happy Jubilee everybody.

Can you imagine if this attitude was directed into other sides of life.

You can actually see that those who pretend to care about 'hate'....well, in reality they are actually fine with it. What is far more important to them is who directs...what they call, 'hate' at whom.

I've actually been accused of hating by people on this forum when I regard that term as absurd and as coming from liars who don't know me.

The selective exaggeration of if you're against something that it means you 'hate' something. You can see that if someone is willing to distort the truth like that they might also find it easy to support news coverage that also isn't that chiefly concerned with objectivity or accuracy.

Nearing a hundred days of war and still no serious attempts at peace since March.

Maybe because the Russians are enjoying a rise in oil and gas prices for their exports. Grain prices high too
A Nice distraction for Western Governments for their own failures and a useful test-ground for arms suppliers.

I think there is a lot of truth in that.

Now all that a lot of old military equipment has been taken out of storage and given to the Ukraine (not for free I might add), the idea of committing the expensive proper stuff to what was a very avoidable border war concentrates minds beyond the 'fitting in' virtue signal.

The consequences of energy and food bills that put hard working people, who were already struggling to keep their heads above water, into desperation and increasing welfare will start to hit home....especially if those power cuts start.

It won't be me who can be pointed at for supporting the prolonging of this war. I looked at it right at the start and saw that this was a bad hand that needed folding as soon as possible. In the mainstream, poor, unprovable contentions have been used to justify it...all with no one there to properly challenge that view....no different to Russia's coverage.

In my view, the worse decisions have been made, we have low quality elites who don't suffer personally from the negatives of their decision but are insulated....they are disconnected from the common man/woman.

It's no different to giving your savings to a hedge manager who has no personal risk in the fund. Always a bad situation in my view.

In both Russian State news, via multiple members of parliament as well as the published newspaper narrative it has been repeatedly stated and is clear that 'ANY' Ukranians against the Russian invasion are considered Nazis who should be wiped out (to the tune of millions). That is literally what they view it to mean. Even in the above you completely gloss over the fact, as you have done multiple times. You do so because it's either something you don't want to acknowledge or something you don't particularly care about (after all you don't want any Ukranians to be armed to help them defend theselves - you view it is shameful that we've done so).

The whole Nazi angle (and your claim that 'Nazis control Ukraine') is clearly a Russian propoganda angle primarily for a home audience to go for a massive landgrab that has not been as much of a breeze as intended. I've not said you have 'nazi sympathys' in the slightest, just that you are very eager to buy into it now that it allows you to demonise and leave an entire country to their fate, and to justify why that's fine. Where are you commenting on our very own now proscribed National Action (who loved a good MP murder), where are you talking about the inadequates current favourite Patriotic Alternative, who attract many who talk of other racial demographics as animals, and have been conclusively shown to draw in plenty who genuinely hold extreme nazi based views, (and supporter(s) who have since been arrested for plotting terror acts)? Where is your criticism of those, through either naivety or thrill, orbitting this crap? Nowhere. But now suddenly you're fine with Russia cleansing an entire country of anyone who disagrees with their actions under the assumption that it's some kind of 'nazi' wipe out. That is the criticism, that is the reality.

To say that there is no point arming Ukranians because on a numbers game basis you view that they cannot win and may as well surrender countrywide is a bizarre argument. It's akin to the Russian argument that the West is to blame for the war for not simply allowing them the easy victory of wiping out unarmed opposition. Not everyone wants to roll over when their home is invaded. Would you want that? If Ukranians had laid down their arms as Russia made their way to the Capital the country would not exist in its current form as the majority of its citizens presently see it. Where exactly is the bargaining hand there. If you genuinely think that unimpeded Russia would've simply stopped at Donbass, then you've drowning in Alt Media Koolaid. We know that not to be true. They may get their Pyrrhic victory, something to be used to convince the home crowd, but I very much doubt long term that militarily or economically it will be seen as some kind of 'win', which will likely do much more to dissuade repeats in the future, than the do nothing approach.

Enjoy Jubilee weekend. If your check box alt media allegiance tells you you're allowed to that is.

f***ing hell mate, this is a whole bag of something.

I really haven’t got the time right now (have to clean my basement) but you are going straight to “National Action” (prescribed and sentenced as far as I know) and comparing them to multiple battalions of heavily armed self proclaimed nazis?

There is literally no nazi problem in the UK because anyone remotely patriotic (like myself) knows that their grandfathers and great grandfathers fought these people at great cost.

So what the actual f*** do you mean?

I'm not asked anything complicated. I'm saying that if you're very suddenly out of nowhere the most concerned person on the planet regarding nazis, and proclaim Ukraine to be controlled by Nazis (who you clearly have little trouble with Russia snuffing out - knowing that Russian criteria for 'nazi' is essentially anyone in Ukraine who fights back) isn't it something of a shame that none of our own appear to bother you. Taking the tack of talking down Natural Action, whose founders professed their love for Adolf Hilter, declared Anders Breivik a hero, and following the death of Jo Cox openly encouraged the murder our more of our MPs.. the same National Action involved in multiple racist attacks resulting in life changing injuries of their victims.. I would've thought you might have at some point offered criticism towards them or those with neo nazi inclined views..

I'm not suggesting you personally have any meaningful sympathies for these people or groups at all, I'm saying that your sudden nazi crusade is you buying into a pushed bulls*** Russian justification for their widespread invasion. And that your lack of concern for those on the receving end of this massive 'special operation' is due to that 'all in' misguided view. You attribute very little if any blame towards Russia, and accuse us of shaming our grandparents for arming a besieged people. perhaps allow your grandfathers and great grandfathers a little more dignity than simply using them to claim they'd have bought the exact same arguments you have.

There are plenty of wars and I can pretty much guarantee that one side will have started it and depending upon your moral perspective will be the bad guys. We ourselves were quite happy knocking cities down in the middle east and I'm quite sure few here were wishing harm on our troops.....well, if I remember some on the far left actually did.

As for our governments they continue to print and spend money we don't have and put our people into poverty. The Ukraine aren't in Nato, but we act like they practically are....which I think gives the lie to those who think that this wasn't moving closer.

That said....I'm not really sure why there's a particular 'goodies and baddies' aspect from a Ukraine/~Russia governmental....that's what the mainstream are pushing and some are lapping up but personally the more you look into it the more....quite nasty it is.

No, the real suffering are the innocents who were no part of this. Sending missiles down on people isn't something I'm in the habit of defending and if someone is supporting Ukraine in this conflict I'm not going to criticise that......Few being attacked here want any hand in this nutty war let alone die in it.

Then again, once the much loved Obama nodded to sending down another missile many innocents would die during that as well.....not many speaking outrage then as I remember.

Personally my issues are more related to the media and elites, the consequences of the war and what's going on behind it.

[Link] Cannon fodder sent to attack their neighbours, deciding it's not worth it. For their troubles, they're now likely the enemy of both sides.

Always had a bit of a soft spot for Nazi's meself. Quite sticklers for punctuality and very slick dressers.
