Rare does not mean non existent. Whether to sue is wise or necessary will depend on individual circumstances. The problem will always be to establish certainty of the cause, rather than just observing the effect, so everything takes time, sometimes a lot of time. So surely the most important thing is ensuring that anyone who has suffered a brain, or any other, injury, is given the most appropriate support available as quickly as possible. Not playing a blame game that worries others and stops them taking sensible precautions against Covid.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

"Safe and effective Vaccine" It's certainly effective. Nothing can ever be described as 100% safe. Safer for the vast majority than not having it, but for an unfortunate tiny minority, not so. Even getting out of bed tomorrow won't be safe for someone.

Blood clots don't need a stent. They use a vacuum catheter to clear clots. Stents are used to hold open a closed/closing artery. They would first use a balloon catheter to open the area in question, then insert the stent if needed. I'm pretty sure that covid would not cause the above situation. Clots yes, a need for a stent unlikely. When I was in William Harvey it was mostly young drug addicts that were adding to the numbers as there was some dodgy drugs doing the rounds.

A large clinical trial conducted worldwide shows that treating moderately ill hospitalized COVID-19 patients with a full-dose blood thinner reduced their need for organ support, such as mechanical ventilation, and improved their chances of leaving the hospital. However, the use of this treatment strategy for critically ill COVID-19 patients requiring intensive care did not result in the same outcomes. The formal conclusions from the trial, which was supported in part by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), part of the National Institutes of Health, appear online in The New England Journal of Medicine. QED.

I'm not getting involved in the science of this but perhaps the driver behind "Commercial reasons" is that healthcare providers have stopped buying it because they are concerned about it's safety?
