He went on to Watford where he lost 8 of his last 11 games and Watford parted company with him with the team 10th in the PL.
He went to Everton and they finished 8th in his first season but the following season they sacked him with Everton 18th in the PL after 15 PL games.
Everton conceded at least 20 goals from set-plays under Silva.

Sorry but you dont pull out of talks with a club because you decide actually you "want a longer break from football". What bulls***. I suspect he found out the enormity of the task and realised that there would be limited funds available .... and what money there is would be spent by SP and Dougie not him.
