Neighbours dress up and perform YMCA, quite funny. Mind you no one seems to have asked where they got the costumes? In my younger days I had a work colleague who cross dressed at fancy dress parties seem to be a little too eager! It is North London and they are an odd lot over there. Edited by dannyboy1978 (17 Apr 2020 9.38am) The WHO ha done great work in the past which the writer refers to however he neglects to mention that in the last 20 odd years it has become politicised and the current leader of the WHO has a very dubious track record.

Yesterday there was a suggestion that applauding the NHS was a waste of time. Last night my block of flats turned out in force at 8pm, whilst we were clapping I noticed my neighbour and friend who is a GP observing us from her window so we clapped and cheered her, she was visibly moved. Later she sent me an email apologising for being so distant recently but as we have vulnerable people in our block she is scared of passing something on. She then added it was a real fillip hearing the applause as she had had a bad week 4 of her work colleagues are on ventilators, 2 doctors 1 nurse and a receptionist. Anyway I just thought I would throw that story into the mix. Be safe everybody.

But when trump made that point he was wrong then ? It's not a question of whether China is blameless. I don't think anyone is "defending" China, or blaming anyone else. It's the timing and the politicising which is criticised. The fact is, despite all the claims and internet theories, that no-body yet knows all the facts about how, where and why the pandemic started. To really trace what happened takes time and systematic, calm, scientific analysis. In the meantime we need everyone helping. Diversionary blame games help no-one and may kill some.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |
