Sexy there is only one true God, but people who pray to other gods, are praying to thin air. Edited by mattwebb (10 Jan 2005 2:36pm) Do you realise how ignorant that sounds? Wake up Matt, your God may also be thin air my friend.
Tell us.
It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. - John Bostock (Nov 2007) |

I have seen answers to prayer, I have prayed for things that have been delivered - reguarly. I have the Holy Spirit, and it is real, I can feel him, I can hear Him. It's hard to explain but ask another Christian they'll know what I mean. I can give you loads of examples of prayers being answered dramatically. I can give an example of a miracle, but you won't believe me and you'll think I am crazy.

Derren Brown showed the other evening how easy it is to convince somebody that something is real when in fact, it isn't.

In a church service in Baltimore once, there was a congregation of about 2000 believers singing praise to Jesus. The song came to and end, and everyone stopped singing. The singing continued, and was the most amazing sound ever, it wasn't from us, everyone was looking around, people began crying with joy, there was a magical feeling in the church, everybody knew what they were hearing there was no mistake. We knew we could hear angels singing. The sound felt like it was right in you. There was no way this was faked by church leaders, because it was crystaline, a perfect sound that could not be reproduced or mistaken. Not one of the 2000 had any doubts what they had heard. There aren't really. Name one war that is about religion, except one driven by the evil of Islam. Ok then, but there have been civil wars started in the past over religion issues?

No they are deceived. I am yet to find a Muslim who has experienced anything like that though. Edited by mattwebb (10 Jan 2005 3:05pm)

I don't think mattwebb will convince any of the non-believers. He could post every day for the next year and nothing will change! You either believe in God or you don't! I doubt any message board posts would change that. Edited by Penge Eagle (10 Jan 2005 3:22pm)
