Throughout this thread the damage that the bank has caused to themselves has been acknowledged. It is though separate to the arguments I am making about Farage. He wants to connect them, as he exploits their failures, but don't be fooled by him. He is exploiting this as much as he can.

The losses suffered by the bank are their responsibility but have nothing to do with any support from the masses. It's the judgement of the financial markets on the likely impact to their bottom line that has caused that.

Why should people not be "cancelled" because of their politics? No one should be forced to invite anyone to speak at an event that they run. No one has the right to speak freely wherever they want. Only to be able to speak freely. It's a free country. We can choose, or ignore, whoever we want to.

Why shouldn’t he exploit it as much as he can- good for him.

So the CEO has now resigned.

Most likely because the bank has lost value rather than any sense of honour.

Sacrificing the purple haired woke woman obviously wasn't enough to appease the money gods.

Maybe this will serve as a warning to other organisations who are playing the virtue card.

Reportedly Farage opened a Courts account at the suggestion of Nat West and they've now accepted him back as a customer. Apparently they're not worried about reputational damage.

I agree, most of the bbc staff should be cancelled because of their politics, as should anyone who voted Remain.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Absolutely!

And once he has quite rightly sued Nat West he will have enough money to qualify for a Coutts account again.

What about having higher insurance premiums because of your political leanings or thoughts ?

Absolutely deserved to lose her job, but apparently was very good at it. Funny how one human mistake can derail what may have otherwise been a very positive era for NatWest with her at the helm. Such is life

Did you know? 98.0000001% of people are morons.

There’s nothing to stop him, but it needs to be seen in its context.

So long as people understand the politicking and hypocrisy that lies behind it he is free to behave like this.

Where is the hypocrisy in what he’s doing. Apparently he emailed the CEO twice for answers but got no reply. Give us a run down of your episode and I reckon prior to you involving your MP you did the same and because you got no response you did just that. Hypocrisy for thee but not for me !!!
