Unfortunately money will still trump morality for most the world.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

I agree but then I guess if you grew up from a young age always having the latest sports car, that probably costs more to service than a regular persons car, and going on holiday's first class travel and staying in hotel rooms that are as big as palaces, or your most casual white plain t-shirt costing £10000, then perhaps you wouldn't feel as comfortable with your money. I'm not saying you wouldn't be FYI, nor am I saying Wilf definitely lives that way, but that life is accessible to him and has been since he was young and dumb enough to make immature decisions, so maybe he doesn't have 45m sitting in a secure well invested account. I think the Saudi offer is 2 years too early for him. As much as I would love him to stay with us, the no-brainer option is Champions League football with Atletico IMO. Hoping he chooses us though!

I hope Wilf realises that 200K a week is enough money for him to make life very comfortable for his family and their future generations, and he would get to stay where he is loved. If not, then I wish him luck.

I agree ... Saudi is a nice big earner to retire on but you'd think an opportunity to play some Champions League football has got to be a no brainer. That's if he has to leave us!!!

The picture is a fake. Zoom in on the neck and you'll see the attributes merging. However, don't know about the news.

If I had woken up this morning and read that Wilf was staying with us - regardless of the pay deal - I would have been a very happy man.

What do you think an increasingly injury prone, non productive, possession losing, penalty missing, low assist giving, forever whining Zaha will offer us moving on from 2023 for the next 4 years? Irrespective of the disharmony it will create in the dressing room?

Don’t agree about the personal attributes but the fact he is injury prone, performances are not as good etc are fair in my view. 200k per week is the kind of money a player in peak of his career should get. Zaha hit the peak a few years ago and for me, this would be a waste of money. Also the impact paying that kind of salary has on rest of team- before you know it our wage bill skyrockets for no increased capability.
