Levi Colwill would be a great addition in defence if we could get him. Although a central defender he can also play on the left and be much needed cover/rest bite for Mitchell. Edited by NE14T (28 Jun 2022 12.34pm)

Surely Chelsea wouldn't let us have Colwill permanently, unless it was for a steep fee? I would imagine that would be a loan. I would be ok with that if it meant, for example, we could splash the cash on Doucoure, who by all accounts sounds like he'll fill a role we really need filling.

I wouldn’t have a problem taking Colwill on loan from Chelsea. They know we’re the best side in the PL at developing young stars.

We have done well with Chelsea loaners (not sure we can call them Chelski any more) with only Bamford not improving during his time with us & even he eventually admitted that at that time his head wasn't in the right place. Originally posted by NE14T
