I personally don't wear a poppy, but have no issue with those who do and respect the opinion of those who see it as an important political message. Why do you treat taking a knee in a different way? It has nothing to do with Marxism or vuolence. It's the players deciding that for 5 seconds they want to remind people of an issue. Why feel the need to potentially insult wilf, kouyate etc by booing? Jeez, i served my country for the likes of you. The 'Poppy' is not & never has been a political message, it is a symbol of a destructive war & a remembrance of all the people that died. Taking the knee as you call it, has EVERYTHING to do with Marxism its all about BLM.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

What about this? Is that happening every match? Nope. Only happens once a year. Not the same. Are they making a political statement? I don't really think they are....isn't it about raising money.

But, of course, the FA are investigating 'crowd incidents' at Millwall and Colchester as the fans haven't stayed 'on message'. I'm off to polish my medallion and get my chest hair dyed.

But you can't understand and see as valid people who see BLM political gestures differently from you. Mmmm...kind of convenient isn't it. Edited by Stirlingsays (07 Dec 2020 6.09pm)

Do you really think kids on millions a year would be promoting something if they thought it was about the abolition of private property? They've all got about 6 houses! They do it to highlight racial injustice. It takes up 5 seconds of your time before you then get to watch the team you love for 90 minutes. Seriously if you think that's such a massive infringement on your freedoms then you live in a fantasy.

What I don't accept is being so self-centred as to boo as if even having to watch it for 5 seconds was an insult to your human rights. This is an issue for black people, which mostly black footballers are raising. Having thousands of white people booing rather than listening says a lot really.

Apparently if you are promoting issues involved with cultural Marxism you're always wearing hammers and sickles. Mmmmm...apparently this isn't a requirement when they talk about opposite ideologies they don't like themselves. Edited by Stirlingsays (07 Dec 2020 6.15pm)

Black lives matter is a stupid choice of slogan and just happens to also be the name of a Marxist organisation. Hmmm! What should we do? Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (07 Dec 2020 6.15pm)
