Wilf literally stands head and shoulders above the rest. Not only is he a great talent he is also very well balanced……except of course when tackled.

No one can eliminate an idea. It's like saying we will continue to do X until everybody likes socialism: It's absurd. But it's not about common sense....it's about paying the wages of the 'diversity and equality' industry. They know full well what the game is. It's a seemingly permanent cost that politicians have lumped onto industry and business for their short term political gain. They don't care about those who are harmed by it.....for example, the 16 back staff sacked at Yorkshire....totally insane but the government made that happen.....a supposedly conservative one. Nor has anybody ever produced the smallest scrap of evidence that kneeling inconveniences anyone in anyway whatsoever but half this forum still have their knickers in a twist. Until somebody comes up with a better idea, I'm happy for the players who are the ones actually getting the abuse every week to do whatever they think it is appropriate. At the end of the day, they're the ones getting the grief, not anyone watching it for 5 seconds.

At the end of the day, they're the ones getting the grief, not anyone watching it for 5 seconds. I would bet those who miss their train by 5 seconds or less might disagree. On a more serious note, I’d wager the notion that football is some sort of hotbed of extreme racism which is religiously practiced consistently and by every single person who finds it of any entertainment value, on screen or live, therefore they are a supporter of this fantasy and need to be demonstrated against and lectured to every time they watch a match, is slightly more jarring. It’s not a question of ‘inconvenience’. It also suggests that there is no other course of action for racist offences, which there is. The focus should be upon that and the serving of justice as opposed to thought conditioning of peoples. It’s a slippery and unerring slope no matter how righteous the message claims to be. Perhaps we should all kneel for the democratically elected Prime Minister, or democratically decided leaving of the EU, or face being outed as right or left wing extremists promulgating totalitarian ideologies?? I’d remove racism from football if I had the power, and I would support any programme that seeks to eliminate it. I do not feel as though this falls into that category however. The original idea, the sentiment behind it and the value it holds for the players is of course worthy of endorsement. It’s apparent hijacking by some, the methodology and apparent acceptance of this plus the ineffectiveness of it in comparison to its now sinister air does not sit well with me and I’d be inclined to believe others. I was under the impression that was our beloved son’s feelings too, hence his standing. If I’m wrong then fine, I’ve no complaints with the kneeling and would wholeheartedly get behind it, if many who oppose do so as they are in fact very racist and angry, no I don’t align with them (there are almost definitely some) however I doubt this applies to many questioning it.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

The increase in abuse online is a symptom of the internet society and has been made worse by all the coverage it has got. Sky's obsession is purely commercial, and the BBC is infested by idealist Lefties.
