I am in total agreement! A population of 65m people and a few hundred - maybe even a few thousand are offended and so we go with them. No one sings these songs to be racist - they are rousing and stirring and many ethnicities join in. I detest these people and their views and have no respect for the BBC and their willingness to run with them. The BBC has to be defunded as soon as possible - a great shame because it also does so much good - but sadly it is time for it to run with the majority or be put down. At the same time they play Rap music on their stations with the "N" word in the songs - but that's fine given that most Rappers are black. Utter madness - we are fast becoming a basket case of a Country and if i could leave then I would and let it become an Island with no Police where people do what they want. All BBC employees however should be made to stay. We can call it Woke Island.

A population of 65m people and a few hundred - maybe even a few thousand are offended and so we go with them.

Back in April (2020) i had a Licence Fee collector come to my house.
TV person " How would you like to pay"
me: "I don't have a TV. And why are you calling at my house when there is CV-19 around and I live in a vulnerable household ?"
The reason I don't have a TV is I don't want to subsidise their ridiculous salaries for very poor programmes and news coverage.

They really are idiots, and they think their viewers are stupider than they are,.....(which might be true in a lot of cases)

Suspect it may well become an issue before the next election. Tories offer to defund the BBC and Labour has to oppose. Could be a real 'Brexit' factor once more. That is how I would play it.
