Yes, roster = squad.

Our bench last year was so bad no there were no options. This year, we're so deep that we have players (Sako) unable to even get a spot on the bench.

And yet, our results are no better.

Take Benteke off the bench & get Sako in

We won,t go down, but having the worst home record in the division apart from Huddersfield is not great.

I don’t think Roy knows what to do about, in fact he is getting more clueless as the home games goes by. Bringing Max on with minutes to go is getting tedious now, give him more game time for Christ sake..

I wish I could share your optimism, the only games remaining where we may get something are the home games against Huddersfield and Bournemouth (given our home record those chances are not great!), as for the away games only Cardiff is a real chance of picking up maybe a point or three if we are lucky (and we do not have much of that!). The rest of our remaining games are not looking that great. Hopefully our five point lead over Cardiff and superior goal difference will just get us over the line but safety is by no means certain!

Agreed . For me our most important game is Huddersfield at home where 3 points is a must . As much as it hurts the F A cup is an unwanted distraction. We are not going to beat either city or utd in final unless it went to a penalty shoot out ,if we even got that far . So for me we Have underachieved this year with squad at Roy’s disposal so now survival is key and so Huddersfield a must win as we are entering the unpredictable results season .

Win two more games and we will be OK.

More likely from away matches than against Huddersfield or Bournemouth, unless Roy Hodgson gets a grip and plays the only constructive midfielder we have - Meyer. Schlupp, if he is, as it seems, undroppable must be at full back.
Ping pong passing to heavily marked forwards is ridiculous, especially as those forwards are not very
inspired at finding space.
Everything else he tries doesn't work so what is there to lose?
By now he should have found a solution - which is not leaving things to the last quarter for a substitution.
A few inspired alterations might help.

Anyone that thinks we go down from where we are. Are bonkers...

37 points likely keeps you safe and we have 33... 40 most definitely will... we have plus one point due to our goal difference.

And we’ve just started to score...

Mental to even consider us going down from here. But the doom mongers will forever live here...

Yes quite agree, I've said all season that we will be safe but I was gambling on our home results improving ..even very slightly, we have got ourselves into a predicamental pickle.
