We have pace in the team and play at walking pace. Wilf and Andros are surrounded by defenders by the time we get the ball into them, then they have to try and do too much at times. Right at the end Wilf had a terrific run and cross, yet no one was in the 6 yard box for the tap in. He's clearly now getting frustrated and is then booked for the kind of challenge that is actually allowed when it's committed on him.
I don't believe Sorloth is good enough, but he should be playing, if only to get players, playing in their correct positions. Four players are playing out of position on a weekly basis. As a one off shock tactic that's fine, but week in, week out, you get found out and it surprises nobody. Wilf is a great player, but we all know he's not a centre forward.
The board have restricted Roy's options with poor transfer windows, but Roy is restricting then more with his stubborness and poor squad management.

I look at it like this in some ways i hope we don't spend in Jan I know people are going to jump on me for this but this is why

We don't know how to use money correctly and clearly do not have in place proper scouting so are going by idiots which have shown already are not good enough so if they spend in Jan we wont have anything to spend in summer.

I would rather us put in place proper setup in Jan to then go after people in the summer.

Now this is a dangerous move but we should be able to grab a few more loans don't we have 2 domestic ones available still and whole bunch of international ones.

Another issue is Roy doesn't have a clue about recruiting players and doesn't appear interested in that side of things this is not good quality managers want to be involved and have knowledge just look at some of best signed we have had they was manager choices.

I don't think Roy will be sacked even if we was relegated.

We need the Americans to sell up but don't think it will happen and noticed how other rich people are coming in for clubs but not interested in us that has to be down to SP he's like a leach

Stop saying he has no strikers, he has 2 on the bench, just doesn't know how to get the best out of them. Plays 442 with 4 central midfielders and 2 wingers up front ??? He looks inept and clueless, doesn't have a plan b never adapts our game, never makes changes. This is the same guy who stuck kane on corners because out of a squad of international players he was the only one who could strike a ball, okay. He's obviously thinking about retirement let's just give him a pay off and put him out his misery.

100% agree.

How can you lose game after game with the same starting XI, same subs, same formation and expect to get anything different! Everyone knows our squad is pretty atrocious but if he at least tried to change it up a bit then we may get a reaction from someone.

Roy offers no energy, no inspiration and no ability to change. There is no chance he will last out the season as manager and I just hope we get rid of him before it’s too late.

I'd say Lindsey as she's bionic and Robert isn't.

His post-match comments today nailed it for me, he needs to be gone. It boiled down to "Stop calling me Bunny and turn those sodding headlights off".

Agree that we’ve become too predictable but the squad of players doesn’t have enough goals in it full stop and now looks as though belief is starting to go.

Wilf is showing sign s of not trusting or rating some of his teammates and was really poor. As good a players as Kouyate and Meyer may be I don’t think they’re what we needed.

Hodgson all day long.....

We've got a great squad but are playing players in the wrong positions!!!!

It should be closer to 4-2-3-1

GK Wayne

LB PVA
CB Tompkins
CB Sakho
RB AWB

CDM Miliolevic
CDM Mcarthur

RW zaha
AMC Meyer
LW Townsend

CF Sorloth / Wickham (neither great but hold the ball up)

Hopkin looks to curl one!

It would appear that Hodgson just doesn't trust players to deliver, such as Sorloth and Ayew, hence believes that a system which has players out of position is best for the team, rightly or wrongly. He looks at the bench, thinks there are no game changers so perseveres with his starting 11.He really is hamstrung in terms of his options hence he is viewed as stubborn.Perhaps we should all feel sorry for him !
