I've changed seat in the past when the one I preferred became available. But I didn't throw a wobbly when I didn't get what I wanted straight away.
Grow HF you're really no more entitled than any other Palace fan.

Personally i believe that they've done more than enough to warrant a favour or two, for the greater good.
We're a small club in a big league and the media attention that we get as a club regarding the atmosphere is superb. This is a POSITIVE for a club such as ours!

Yes but what will effectively be making the whole lower tier stand is taking that favour a bit far due to plenty of valid reasons from those unable to stand, get a similar view etc etc. That’s the crux of it. It’s unworkable at this present time and shouldn’t have been either ‘promised’ or ‘offered as a possibility.’

Wait 2-3 years. It’s that simple.

HF warrant a favour or two ?
That's total nonsense, all Palace fans are equal.
People such as myself who've watched Palace since the 1960's don't expect any privileges.
And if this "superb atmosphere" is such a positive why have we had such an abysmal home record over the past few seasons.

Indeed. It makes far more sense to wait for the new stand & the inevitable shift around of seats. Safe standing would still need to be in corners or possibly the whole (or a large part of) of the Whitehorse - maybe even the rear of the front section in the AW (if that makes sense).

From what I recall of discussions past, the club agreed to look into the feasibility of a move but no promises made. Maybe they should simply have said wait for the redevelopment.

Ironically, this whole situation might cause the rest of the fanbase to raise its game.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

what would be nice, with all these 'facts' being bandied about, is a comment or some such from the club, with their view of the proceedings. what has happened in their view, what was or wasn't offered/inferred etc. This all seems to be supposition and 'he said, she said' kinda stuff.

They've had more than a favour or two! The seating allocations at Wembley, storage for stuff in the ground, even just being allowed to wave massive flags and not have them instantly removed by stewards.

The fact that the club even looked into this as a possibility was a pretty big favour as well.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

Again I ask the question ? If the HF are so “Fanatical “ palace why not wait for ground developments to be completed, and they then would probably got what they wanted ?

I don't get the obsession with standing,I can make just as much noise sitting down

I went to the first day of the Test Match yesterday at Edgbaston and was sitting a few rows in front of the Barmy Army who were all singing away whilst sitting down

They want to hand the baton over and/or have other things to do/afford in life in the next few years, as is natural? Not really affordable for all classes all of the time.

It is all day at cricket and it’s hardly edge of your seat stuff every second. Stop, start, stop start.
