Normally you’d have a point but not now. The financial situation is staring us all in the face. We just don’t know how much we can Gong back a while the issue was raised a couple of seasons after season 1 that when we were promoted we decided to operate at a profit in year 1 instead of going out and overspending which you are allowed to do within reason in season 1. It's all fair comment but there are still players of quality out there that we could afford like Seri and yet we seem to be focused on older players with no sell on and average quality like Gonalons.

all newly promoted clubs tend to splash the cash we did, Even though Parish and Holloway used a machine gun approach in that summer and Pulis brought in a few really good additions we made a profit that season and about 2 seasons later it was that that was used as a reason we were at some disadvantage to newly promoted clubs. It’s the lack of scouting and buying of only players with Prem pedigree apart from Souare and Luka with big transfer fees and big wages that has contributed to this situation. Pardew has played his part and Sam had to really bring in some Prem pedigree players because we were doing the usual of repairing a repeated fvck up or procrastinating from the chairman. But it can still be salvaged. Parish probably works best under pressure and quietly. It’s when there’s no pressure or things seem well or he’s all over Twitter and possibly Dragons Den that he doesn’t work so well and takes really risky chances the football world knows are bonkers.

It seems to me that if the club is in Financial distress it has 3 options to relieve this issue.

I think the ambition is to bring the club into the 2020’s and sell it for a profit. Not going bust isn’t an ambition but something to prevent. prevention and ambition go hand in hand, and you said yourself we dont have alot to spend at the moment,

Shareholders decide if the chief executive goes or not and if Steve Parish's actions or inactions end up costing the investors a shed load of money through relegation they could well decide that it's time to look for a new chief executive. The bigger question is, what are the ambitions of Blitzer and Harris as they ultimately have the final say, not Parish. It’s easy for people to throw brickbats at Parish as he is the visible face of the directors. If they don’t make money available, we aren’t buying anyone.

Have you considered that the Americans want Parish out and are withholding any more funds due to the current running of the club? Blitzer and Harris paid £50mil for a percentage of the club on the proviso it was used towards the new stand. The stand is still not any closer to being built, we dont even have an agreement in place with Sainsbury's nor has it been signed of by the Mayor...don't let Parish fool you.

Withholding funds to get Parish out and see us relegated and their investment in ruins doesn’t sound likely when they could vote him off as a working chairman with the added votes of other American shareholders. I do wonder of their commitment if some deals fall through if because of cash flow only and not FFP etc rules.

A board member can be voted off by a majority shareholder of over 50% however as the sharehold is split no majority has anywhere this. Usually this would be a special resolution, you need would need this passed by 75% of the members.

Parish holds 18% and the other 3 of CPFC hold less than that. Is it 10% or just over?

What in your opinion has Parish done wrong? We are entering our 6th season in the Premier. New stands don’t get built overnight, clubs spend years jumping through planning approval hoops, you can’t blame Parish for the slow pace that local government progress.

So in the meantime what do you think has happened to that initial investment? The longer it takes the better it is for Parish. Yes its great we are into our 6th season of which we have earn't over £100 million a year, would you not question where that has been invested back into the club? Not in the academy, not in the training ground (apart from a Pardew style spruce), not in the stadium. There was an opportunity to purchase Goals opposite but that wasn't taken. It comes down to Parish not being an experienced Prem chairman. 6 years of premiership money and the majority of it spent on wages and now looking ahead, a new stadium. With a tighter, more experienced group running the club, from manager to chairman, the players wages should be reasonable, with proper scouting, youth system and process in place. Anyone can make Parish seem a villain or a hero, it's the way you word it "He's got it right - we have never had it so good, been in the prem 6 years, bought in some class players... got a new stand being brilliant... we are just unlucky with injuries" "He's got it wrong - we're all over the place, been in a scrap for 6 years, bought in some expensive flops... now held hostage to a new stand... our squad can't cover injuries" There comes a time you get pissed off drinking from a half empty glass.
