Because he doesn't trust his bench.
So much for the strengthening in the 'Window' !!!
Shambles.

They are good. They’ve got quality right the way through their team.

Second goal went walkabout

Third goal gave up running.

Represents everything that is wrong with modern football - an average, self indulgent footballer being paid a millionaire wage to do an at best mediocre job.

I think that's slightly unfair, I'm not denying he was definitely at fault for two of the goals but he's been one of our better attacking players today.

Bangell - If Camus wrote The Myth of Sisyphus today, it would be about Jason Puncheon eternally trying and failing to pass with his right foot.

Are we at all capable of scoring in free play? It just looks like an impossible task.

All the goals have come from mistakes and you just can’t do that in this division. In truth we have had a couple of chance and again in this division you have to put them away. The main thing is that we would be beating Everton today if we didn’t have the injuries we have. We could go down with this present 11 especially the back four unless we get players back quickly :-(

I'll probably get slated for this but I don't think we deserve to be 3 (edit now 2) down as we have played some nice stuff going forward. A missed sitter and three instances of poor defending have let us down.
