We do have the beginnings of squad depth, we have not had that for a long time

We didn't look very confident on the ball for a lot of it. I think you all are right, having an extra man in midfield instead of Benteke helps us a lot. Bit of a conundrum there.

Exactly. In past years, those injuries would’ve left us decimated.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

How much of Jules’ performance today was him wanting to show Pardew what he could’ve had. He was immense.

He made an excellent one on one save but Ward gave him a real roasting for not punching a cross that Speroni went for and some of his kicking wasn't great. To me though that save made up for those errors.

I disagree, depth at the back but any injuries to the front line and we're well and truly still up s*** creek.

Personally believe we have him in RLC if Roy will play him in that role.

I mean for the long term. I agree that RLC can be effective in that role...but he won't be with us for long

Sorry to disagree, we do not even have a first team let alone a squad! we have a team of sick notes and a striker who cost a fortune and can't score, unless we start scoring we are doomed!
