What a complete and utter joke,Mr Parish.
No points,no goals and no striker, now Benteke is apparently injured.

my friend, everything up for grabs against Man.U. and Chelsea, keep faith.
Watched them since 1958 (I was a young man)!
Yes, very depressing days at Selhurst and everywhere else where we play, but we've been there before in the lower divisions.
Is it possible to go a season without scoring a goal?
No, own goals count, and there will always be a few!
At least we had Sakho today!

As regards Benteke, if we get a good price for him I think we should bite the bullet and sell him even with a small loss and get in two £10M strikers from the lower leagues. I doubt they will do any worst.

I was thinking more of Punch, Ward, Lee, Mutch, Delaney etc. We definitely need a striker or two for sure. I think blind loyalty at this club is taking it's toll with the results achieved. We've been lucky the last few seasons to escape the drop IMHO, but it looks like our luck is running out fast with this squad. Seriously, are there 3 teams worst than us on what we've seen so far this season?

Has literally everyone just been waiting all week until surprise surprise we don't beat Man City...

Guess what it may be a few weeks until we get a win, so dry your eyes.

Blind loyalty? who shouldn't have been in todays starting XI due to blind loyalty ?

The lineup was good but look at the bench. I'm referring to the squad overall and the competition for places. Not to mention if we have injuries (ala Benteke), where's the depth.

We definitely lacked character in that second half. I don't know what Roy said at half time but we need someone in the team who can kick some ass big time. Unfortunately, with Roy, I doubt we have it on the sideline.

Six games in, no points and no goals. Not a surprise really when you look at the squad and the players brought in. The choice of the two managers so far this season also leave a lot to be desired. We'll end up with having at least three managers this season. Parish and the board have a lot to answer for this debacle.

Brinscall Eagle Flag Brinscall Lancashire/ Villamartin ... 23 Sep 17 5.46pm

Ok so we lost to the best and most expensive team perhaps not only in the Premiership but also maybe Europe. They will beat many teams for fun this season so there is no shame in losing today.
What we wanted to see was however signes that we will come good as the season progresses and in the first half I think we showed that we are making steps forward.
Yes we are in the mire but we are improving.
