As someone who voted for Trump in 2016, yesterday I was overcome with pride that I had cast my vote for the man. Condeming the KKK and nazis is easy for a politician to do, condeming the virtue signaling, marxist "ANTIFA" bourgeoisie is hard, especially in front of the MSM who carries water for the Democratic party and the left. These aren't people who represent the working class in this country as they style themselves to be, these aren't people who retired from Bethelem steel when the Unions drove those factories elsewhere, these are up-jumped champaigne socialists who marvel at Stalin, Castro, and Lenin because they haven't worked an honest job in their life and think their owed anything and everything.

Color me surprised that a despicable white identity movement shows out in force in Charlottesville when the identity poltics of the left has been doing it for the past 15 years in this country by silencing those who do not follow their cult-like S**t idealogy. Standing by anything thats non-white male is popular with these racists and intersectionalists on the left. Want to control immigration, "you're a racist!" Criticize blm, "Racist!" Question religious dogmas that drive people to fight in holy wars? "Racist".

Its sickening on both sides, but what would you expect happen, the leftists only see you by race.

Only inside the coastal echo chambers does this attitude get a pass, just put on the John Oliver or any other late night jacka$$ who hasn't had to pay a bill the last 15 years and you'll hear it.

Good on you Trump for saying whats right.

You say condemning the KKK and Nazis is easy for a politician to do. That's correct. It's actually easy for a human being to do, because it's empirically correct. So why does Trump have so much trouble doing so when not reading off a script?

I am at a loss to understand how anyone who listened to what Trump said yesterday, when talking from his heart, could think..."hmm...sounds good to me."

Why doesn't the Democratic party disavow the Marxists of ANTIFA who have battered people in the streets for being anything left of Noam Chomsky? DO i have to point out that here in Alexandria, VA, republican congressman were attacked by a Bernie Sanders marxist nut with an assault rifle while playing softball?

They're is an acute difference between the threat posed by white nationalists in this country and that of islamists and jihadists.

Sure, they're are pockets of disenfranchised white males who are attracted to these sort of disgusting hate groups, but on the scale of actual strategic problems this country has had to face, and ultimately manage with islamic terror? Please.

Theres a real threat where in the islamic world where young men will toss away a good career to join the caliphate.

But thats par for the course for the far left isn't it? Give the minority a pass because well they're brown and blame us colonialist whites.

Trump has repeatedly called out protesters, violent and otherwise, on the left since he's been president.

How many more non violent counter protesters would have to have been mowed down by a racist terrorist for that to be the 'take home' from this particular incident?

Non-violent? Both sides were violent my friend, ANTIFA in this country have been the Sturmabteilung toward anyone right of Noam Chomsky for the past year since Trump smote Hillary down upon the mountainside.

I totally agree with you on that point he is a man that is not frightened to say what he feels and thinks unlike the man who was in the big seat before him.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

You're right, there is. The threat to Americans in America from white supremacists is far, far greater than that posed by every other hate group. It's a factor of 2 to 1.

You cite the lone gunman shooting Republicans at a baseball field - a disgusting crime. But then you have the guy with his car in Charlottesville this past weekend. And the man who stabbed two people to death on a train in Portland because they tried to intervene as he racially abused a Muslim woman. And the 28-year old who stabbed to death a 66-year old black stranger in Midtown New York. That's just this year. Dylann Roof killed nine people in a historic black church - that was just in 2015. Two of Cliven Bundy's supporters killed three people - including two cops - in Nevada in 2014. I could go on and, unfortunately, on and on and on and on. Back to Timothy McVeigh Back to the civil rights and pre-civil rights unrest in the south.

There is no equivalency here. None. It;s offensive to claim there is - which is why Trump is being slammed from every direction today.

As for the threat from jihadists overseas, we've been in two wars over this since 9/11. Trillions of dollars spent; thousands of lives lost. It's not like it's being swept under a rug.

Trump could have come out and completely condemned the Far right and you would have been having ago at him for something else.

Of course the far right is a disgrace of course they should be wiped from existence.

Trump has condemned both sides which is correct.

It does feel at times that Trump could find a cure for cancer and everyone would slag him off for not finding a cure for aids.

Here's that alt-left, Chomskyite, Antifa trouble-maker Mitch McConnell today:

Quote

We can have no tolerance for an ideology of racial hatred. There are no good neo-Nazis, and those who espouse their views are not supporters of American ideals and freedoms.

The white supremacist, KKK, and neo-nazi groups who brought hatred and violence to Charlottesville are now planning a rally in Lexington. Their messages of hate and bigotry are not welcome in Kentucky and should not be welcome anywhere in America.

f***ing commie.

Trump says, particularly, and does a lot of stupid things. That's why he has record-low approval ratings and record-high disapproval ratings. There's a clanger pretty much every day so, yes, if he hadn't blown his dick-measuring contest with Kim Jong-Un off the front page with this latest horror story I'd be pricking on about something else. Because with him there's always something else.

Trump condemned the violence by both sides, which is correct. But he also sympathised with the white supremacists, saying that "some are good people...trust me...believe me". Umm, no, they're not. If you're marching under Swastikas, with people chanting Nazi slogans and anti-Jewish slogans - and you don't leave that march - you're not a good person.

Ray - conflating individual acts of crime to acts perpetrated by international organized state sponsored groups is just bad analysis my friend. I've done foot patrols through J-bad, AF. Theres a difference walking through Afghanistan than there is a permit authorized Unite the Right rally. I can honestly say i have felt less safe walking to a Baltimore Ravens game from parking at the down town UMD medical center than i have while deployed in AF and africa. How many times is the grand wizard of the KKK calling for the "Tumor that is Israel being lanced out of the earth"? Western civilization is under attack from by Islam and its paradoxial sycophants on the left. Right wingers are not the ones undermining democracy or the ones initiating the violence. Theres no overarching apparatus in place that is sanctioning these terrible acts like the Roof shooting compared to whats happening to Europe and the west today.

Ray, are you surprised that a white identity politics movement has grown? I mean honestly? Do some self evaulation on what the left has been doing the last 15 years, they have single handedly helped these b******s grow.

Where was Obama after the BLM jacka$$ shot up Dallas police? He came out a few days later dancing on stage with GWB and still caveated all that by blaming police.

Look at this nonesense from the left [Link]

My father would be turning in his grave if WWII Vets were compared to these marxist brown shirts roaming the streets today.

Disgusting.

I think you're conflating dichotomous analogies.
