I suggest you grow up, or organise some sort of playground fight club with Nick so you can both get it out of your systems without clogging up numerous forum threads. Ha ha, I missed this one. Dirty, niggly, mouthy? Au contraire. I am all about peace and harmony.

That's nice. You clearly don't understand why the British population is increasing. It ain't 'cause of old people chief. Any yet the fact is the UK population continues to age. In mid-2014, the average age exceeded 40 for the first time. By 2040, nearly one in seven people is projected to be aged over 75. These trends, partially mitigated by migration rates (meaning, we need migration), will have a major effect on the UK. The Office for Budget Responsibility projects total public spending, excluding interest payments to increase from 33.6% to 37.8% of GDP between 2019/20 and 2064/65 – equivalent to £79 billion in today’s terms – due mainly to the ageing population. (so once again, your little chum might want to worry about the cost of old people and less about the cost of infrastructure etc of new homes which will be off set by homeowners paying rates - the reason we pay then in the first place.) But let me take an educated guess, what you really mean and what you're too timid to say is that you believe the population growth is due to people with darker skins than yours breeding like rabbits, blah, blah, blah etc. Well again, that would be very wrong (and on so many levels). Tke UK is around 85% white. With Asian's represent roughly 7% (Black/African another 3%). For this 10% to be responsible for a spike in population is frankly ridiculous - and almost impossible.

I would have thought that previous posts and links have made the circumstances clear. I think it's you who is letting your prejudice get in the way of reality.

Bless, let me help you out You say, Population growth is caused by immigration and birth rate combined being higher than emigration and mortality rate. Now, facts say, net migration (immigration minus emigration) over the last ten years equate to an increase of 2m. And yet, in that same time the population of the UK increased by 5m. So, birth rate compared to mortality rate = an increase of 5million (still with me cupcake, it's just maths) Now, let's look at some more facts in those same 10 years the birth rate was roughly 7m and the death rate was roughly 5.6million. So now we have 1.4 million people responsible for the growth - as much as you would like to blame that on illegal immigrants sneaking into the country and finding their way into official figures, not even you are that stupid, which means, 1.4million must be living longer than previously. Maybe, it's down to fewer people dying in road accidents, fatal snake bites or hit by lightening, or course. (mike dropped) Edited by simonmdt (25 Jun 2017 6.04pm)

Have you been at the Ganja? Who has blamed illegal immigrants for population increase? I have said all that needs to be said. You'll figure it out.
