I don't think it's anyone's place to tell people what they should or should not be offended by, but in my opinion, the homophobia associated with Brighton needs to stop now. We all "hate" Brighton, but we can be a little more clever about the chanting now, surely?

It's 2017, more accepting times and I think with the spotlight more and more being on the club, we will get a lot of negative press, should the homophobic "banter" chanting continues next season. Remember, every Premier League game is televised worldwide and it is likely that the game will be on Sky too.

If you have a gay mate (one of my best mates is pansexual) and you took him or her to that particular game, do you think they would feel comfortable or enjoy the game?

I'd rather f*** a Nigel than a seagull. Love winding up the Weed, looking forward to the home match. There's real homophobia and then there's banter. As an out gay supporter I can notice the difference. We all need to stamp out the former.

If everyone put it into perspective first ....
All fans shout derogatory remarks about the other fans .... some are funny, some are childish, some are completely out of hand ...

If everyone takes umbrage at everything that every clubs fans sings at games .... then it will be dull.

I am not saying I defend it but you have to take it for what it is ... I mean if you are gonna get the hump about it ... get the hump over what they sing to Moan utd about the Munich air crash FFS

WTF is Pansexual??

If you took a fat mate to Palace and the crowd shouted abuse at a fat fan or player, would you be embarrassed for your mate?

Homo, straight, Bi - it doesn't matter does it?
You're not a set of people it's just what you enjoy doing and who you fancy.
Some men like BBWs, some like thin women, some like people to dress up as animals, some like other men sometimes, some take what they can get.

Shouting out "you take it up the bum" is not a big deal is it? Fans used to shout it about Victoria Beckham. Whether she likes it or not it doesn't matter. The fans aren't saying people who do are bad or immoral or 'wrong'. It really is banter.

Say you catch someone at work w*****g at a picture of Olive from On The Buses. You'd take the piss for weeks wouldn't you?
Or would you hug him and protect him from his bullies and stand up for his right to masturbate to 70's sitcom characters.

Look at the camp TV presenters who fall over themselves to make double entendres "Oooh you left your back door open Simon". That's Ok though isn't it? Bit of a joke. Gays being gay. Boys will be girls.

If homos, lesbos or f*****g 'Pan'sexuals are getting offended then they should sit at home and leave football to less sensitive souls.

There were lots of very enthusiastic pansexuals in the 70's.

Came out 7:30 every Thursday night when Tomorrow's World had just finished.

'Sit back dad, I can't see Babs'

Google it.

There's a clear difference between being fat and your sexual orientation. Would you feel comfortable bringing a black man to a match where there were likely to be racist chanting? You've kinda derailed way off point to what I was saying, but whatever, it was just my two piece worth.

Firstly, that's an absolutely ridiculous comparison. Fat people haven't spent years having to hide themselves because of how society has perceived and judged them. It was never against the law to be fat, and fat people generally don't get beaten up or murdered for being fat. Fat people weren't rounded up and persecuted during the holocaust or prevented from marrying the person they wanted to until very, very recently.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

Pansexual, is that another form of this non binary bollocks. Some people really need to have a word with themselves, do what you like but seriously. Whatever happened to straight, gay or bi for f***s sake.
