Great team effort today, looks like Sam has got them playing for each other again.
Sakho has been great, but we knew he was good, the revelation has been Luka, who has slotted into the team and makes it tick now, impressive signing. It was a brave decision to drop McArthur, but it has worked. It will be interesting to see how Luka does against the top 6 teams, he could be vital in us getting a few points off them.

Unfortunately, I don't think there's a buying option. If Liverpool really do want to get rid (and it looks like their defence is the poorer without him), I suspect that far more attractive propositions than Palace will be available.

He seems to be liking it at Palace and is getting on with his teammates very well. They all seem to love the guy.

And as I've mentioned on another post, there's not many more propositions as attractive as earning £100k a week whilst living in London. The palace players don't have to live in Beckenham or Keston anymore. They can live anywhere and be driven into training. I think this has really changed the game for us as far as how attractive a proposition we are now days.

I don't doubt it, BG. But you know what footballers are like..... more money, 'bigger' club etc. If we stay up, he should be a priority target but I fear the competition will be stiff.

Oh agreed. But we all said the same about Benteke and Cabaye when we were after them.

True. Let's hope Allardyce brings all his persuasive charm to bear, eh?

Fantastic result and performance. WBA didn't really have much in their locker but we still did our job. Glad I made the journey.

Very happy for Big Sam. It's starting to click for him as it should. He beat his benchmark today in Pullis. They are both masters of their craft. Pretty it may not be at times. But if you want premiership football, then are both your boys. And he wiped Pullis's team aside today.
The lads deserve their trip to Morroco.

Perhaps the BBC wants to tease both goals as GOTW/S contenders?

I've been critical of Tomkins but I thought he was good today. Sakho was again fantastic, Luka is the coolest calmest player in the Premier League right now.

Can we just rename him Luka Busquets to save pronunciation issues. Absolute class act, signings have been bang on the money.

We're the Arthur over ere!

The result is a lot sweeter after Pulis' comment about us "I don't know where it all went wrong". Stick that up your jacksie you greedy, deserting rat and ask yourself where it went wrong for you yesterday.
