Previous Palace Chairmen have had "their pants pulled down" (to use an SJ quote) I'm glad we have a ruthless savvy Chairman, . . on our side. His hairdresser sucks, his trousers are too tight, and he has a big nose. But he seems to come up a winner every time in business. And he's Palace Met him a couple of times, and he's always had time (even when I'm very pished) to say a few good words and sign stuff for people. Don't really care if he meant it,...but the gestures for the fans have been great

Allow me to dis construct your post. I'll try to refrain from questioning your sexuality whilst I do so for obvious reasons. complete rubbish and you have not heard about what went on then. SP was using dirty tactics holding SJ hostage not caring one bit about the club and that snake Alexander destroying everything from the inside to force now known himself and SP takeover of the club. SP can't hold anyone to ransom. If you get preferred bidder status then that is fine, but the liquidator is duty bound to find the best deal for the creditors of the business. The liquidators run the club, they are responsible and no one else. They didn't have to sell to SP and colleagues. Administrators was a joke and didn't have a clue and was a puppet that SP was playing with for his own agenda. Met him have you? I have and I've had professional dealings with him. Wouldn't say he is my favourite person in the world, but likewise you are aware it is the CREDITORS who control what happens in a liquidation. They have to vote on proposals. That includes all the listed debts. Even LLoyd bank was in shock why the club was going through that it should of never happened. You have proof of this presumably. And again the third party didn't have to sell to SP if it wasn't the right offer. We had already been in the Prem and got relegated or have you forgotten that. So were Portsmouth, Coventry, QPR, Bolton, Blackburn. Your point being? Regarding the ground Noades wouldn't sell to him and when he finally said he would he wanted more then double it's value which is why a 3rd party was used and a deal was in place so SJ would of owned it in next few years had the club not gone into administration. And if my aunty had bollocks she would be my uncle. The fact is a third party owned it - doesn't matter how you slice that. Also I suggest you look up the history of Agilo. If you are borrowing from that sort of place you are not in good shape. Were they premature forcing the liquidation - absolutely. But they did and it happened. SJ gave up that control he could of held on to it and played the waiting game at end of the day had he held on he would of got a pay packet out of it but the club would of been dead. you really dont have a clue what went down, did you even follow it when it happened it doesn't appear so. Yes, yes I do. You see working as an accountant that deals with Insolvency yes I do. SJ was a creditor - he could have held it up but its unlikely he would have seen any more funds. You seem to be blaming SP for being a better businesses man than SJ. I never mentioned anything about football side so not sure how you came up with that you must be in fantasy world or cant read posts suppose it hard if you are busy sucking off sp or too deep up his ass. You also never mentioned anything factual other than offering your disjointed and incoherent opinion. You then manage to finish by suggesting that I may like to engage with SP on a deeper level. Now aside from the fact of what they say about people who use homophobia to cover their own proclivities, I very much doubt SP would be in any way shape or form interested in my engaging in such a personal form of admiration. Also, whilst he does have truly wonderful hair, he isn't my type. What it does show though is that you are clearly not intelligent enough to put up logical reasoning and want to effectively move onto teenage insults. Might I suggest you head off for a "Cheeky Nandos" brev and a few pints down the spoons. Your blood pressure clearly needs it. I had you pegged as a troll before but I apologise. I don't think you have the required skills or depth of character to be able to pull it off* *no doubt you will insert a reference to pulling off here. Edited by robdave2k (31 May 2018 11.16am) 1. you can hold people hostage if you are controlling the game which SP was he was getting inside information and lets not forget he didn't want to own the club so he claimed which was bs he wanted he had Alexander causing trouble inside the club he just did not want it with SJ getting anything from it and had it been liquidated he wouldn't of touched it. 2. You referring to Brendan Guilfoyle if so I have unfortunately had dealing with him as well a few times and was around the club when he was there the guy just had a very iffy vibe and when you see the actions he took it showed the admin was in Agilo pocket not caring about how the club would even find any other backing and theirs info showing Agilo was in bed with SP which is why they rushed this whole process. 3. I can't remember his name but someone from Llyods Bank even stated they wasn't happy about it and being around the club when it went down you could see this could of been solved which the bank was offering support for it was not in there best interest for this to happen you can see this by looking at the books. 4. Palace was in play off position in the league when this went down so that is not the same as those clubs you listed so the way it was looking we was heading up again. 5. Have you also forgotten SP claiming he didn't want to own the club yet he was in background doing the opposite and trying to force SJ out who by the way I am not a big fan off. 6. I think you are forgetting that had we not gotten the Americans to come in we would of been struggling SP even stated he was desperate for investment. Edited by grumpymort (31 May 2018 5.04pm)

Huh? If it had been liquidated no one would have touched it. Who exactly was held hostage? SJ? well that is the risk that comes from being a football club owner. Congratulations - two potentially libellous statements in one paragraph. Agilo was a secured creditor - they were within their rights to take the steps they took. For £4.1m their debt - they would have got paid. 3. I can't remember his name but someone from Llyods Bank even stated they wasn't happy about it and being around the club when it went down you could see this could of been solved which the bank was offering support for it was not in there best interest for this to happen you can see this by looking at the books./i] Looking at the books? I spend every day of my life looking at books. And no the bank wasn't offering support at all - the club was regularly breaching it's overdraft facility of £9.5 million. They club was also paying wages late. The company that owned the stadium went into administration on 12 February 2010 and SP and Co were the only interested parties following meetings with MP's and local representatives 4. Palace was in play off position in the league when this went down so that is not the same as those clubs you listed so the way it was looking we was heading up again. No they weren't. HMRC petitioned the club on the 11 December 2009 for just over £1.2m and the club was losing money year on year. Substantial amounts - despite player sales The petition was due to be heard the day after Agilo placed the company into liquidation. 5. Have you also forgotten SP claiming he didn't want to own the club yet he was in background doing the opposite and trying to force SJ out who by the way I am not a big fan off. SJ has no one to blame but himself. SJ was asked to put in funds and couldn't. He was owed £7.8m in the liquidation (one way or another) and wasn't the biggest creditor. There were £33m of creditors. 6. I think you are forgetting that had we not gotten the Americans to come in we would of been struggling SP even stated he was desperate for investment. Well thank God he didn't overpay in the first place then. Honestly can you hear your own arguments? you contradict yourself continually
3.11 - Despite making a number of player sales the club recorded losses of £8.1m and £8.2m for the 2008 and 2009 years respectively 3.13 During the 2009/10 season the payment of the players wages was delayed on a number of occasions and the club began to incur fines from the Football League 6.4.2 The playing squad was valued by the directors at £24m. WMG have confirmed this significantly overstates the current market value of the squad
Then when SP does it sensibly (like taking on proper investors rather than loan sharks) he is called out for being desperate for investment. Better than a hedge fund wouldn't you say? Edited by robdave2k (31 May 2018 5.52pm)

In short your main complaint is that Parish is a better businessman than Jordan. I agree. I thought Parish played a blinder on the whole. I didn’t like the way Jordan ran the club but he’s mellowed a lot and I prefer him now. Parish is just frustrating on deadline transfers but miles better, obviously.

Investors are better than loan sharks. And if it was referring to a certain company (who are widely referred to in that term) they were dissolved last year.

I recall the last death-throws of SJ. Selling 5 and 10 year ST's. Even a complete fcking moron (like me) could see he was selling our club up the swannee. Any yet 'fans' bought them up for a bargain price, because it wasn't their fault the club "was up 5hlt-creek" and yet who honoured those long-term ST's, taking a big hit on the way ? I would venture some of those long-term ST purchasers / investors were bigger C U N T S than SP will ever be. Tried to steal a bargain as the club stared over the precipice,..some could say Edited by Forest Hillbilly (31 May 2018 8.12pm)

oh, yeah. we were there in the clubs dying years. We invested (a pittance) to keep our club alive for another season. I bet not one of the 5-10 year 'investors' gave their ST back once CPFC2010 took over. Not fcking one. Edited by Forest Hillbilly (31 May 2018 8.16pm)

Parish then didn’t increase casual fan prices and tried to encourage them in during the championship. Remember when Jordan was planning to mortgage the academy players?

Edited by robdave2k (31 May 2018 5.52pm) As I said I was on the ground to see a lot that went on you clearly was not and appear to look at few documents online and think you know it. Football league was corrupt on such a large scale and had it in for SJ because he said it how it is and didn't put up with there s**t. I think again you forget there was hardly any money for teams below Prem so all clubs would be losing money and the losses went on to SJ he was covering them. So you think the squad was not worth 24m rubbish people like Mosses could of gone for 5m+ and in fact they was about to be offered that before this stuff happened which resulted in him going for under 2m yeah great work from the Admin their next up was Clyne he went for peanuts. I see you not even bring up how the Hero fund screwed us over and they appeared to be in bed with Agilo as well plus the wage delays was because of hmr You claim the bank was not offering any support this is false again the bank was involved for the whole process before Agilo filed trying to offer them a deal but they wasn't interest other wise why wouldn't bank say enough is enough. HMRC was the reason for the wages being delayed again you do not mention this just like many things you are missing big chunks out almost like you have been reading a newspaper report.
