you could add zeros to that and it would be somewhere near the number of biased links that you copy and paste.

Any chance of a synopsis or, even better, a real news source?

The DWP released a leaflet that included made up quotes under photos of random people saying how wonderful the new DWP systems are.

They released false, bulls*** information to mislead.
Can it be any clearer?

Here is a link to the bbc report. [Link]
The Independent [Link]
The Telegraph [Link]
Daily Mirror [Link]
ITV [Link]

Enough 'news' sources for you? I've included a spectrum of sources so that I can't be accused of bias.

I'd already guessed after one look at the BBC home page.

You don't believe all those quotes you get when your council send out those magazines telling us how wonderful they and their services are, do you?

Next you'll be believing those people in the PPI adverts really did get back what they said. Or that those people actually did get a no win/no fee payout for falling over at work.

From this then, one must assume that you think it is ok for a government department to blatantly lie in literature it produces.

If you don't why don't you just concede that it is wrong and move on...

One should assume they already do.

As if anyone actually reads those things and thinks "well it worked out fine for "Sarah" in the literature"...

Indeed they have.

Please refrain from trolling posters from website or threads and badgering them here. Do not persist in asking people the same questions, and if you can't avoid each other, please avoid turning general talk into your general slagging match.

Not disagreeing with you, but I think its par for the course for politicians to 'put a veneer of truth on the business of dishonesty'

I got one of those recently, I didn't realize it was my own council.

In fairness I did get 4k back in PPI, and those no win no fee cases are kind of real, but what they don't tell you is how much of the fee they take (at least 35% usually, more if it goes to court).

My point being that people in those adverts, like the DWP leaflet or council magazines, are actors. Whether the stories are vaguely real or not.
