The season is a marathon not a sprint. We've played 4 games. The new signings will be phased in don't panic.

Im not panicking, but do you honestly believe Eze will ever play as number 10 under Roy?
Roy loves Ayew too, cant see him being dropped either.

The club havent even told us the situation of Ferguson. very frustrating.

Dont think you is too far off.

Certainly not CW, not after his latest injury.

To be quite honest I don't care if he plays as a number 10 or on the left. When he signed I thought he'd play on the left similar to how we played when RLC was here. It's not been a million miles away from that. It's a position he played often for QPR as well.

I expect Bats will be getting more playing time soon and pushing for a start.

Ferguson delay is obviously frustrating and with Clyne joining it isn't expected to change any time soon. But once he does get fit I think he'll be a real asset.

With respect, my comments about targets not 'Getting over the line' have been taken out of context.

These were made when certain posters were pilloried and ridiculed for providing details which never came to fruition and I tried to offer an explanation by asserting that this whole transfer business can be protracted, complex, frustrating and can end in abject disappointment.

To repeatedly feel the need to explain to us that transfer dealings can be “protracted, complex and not always go according to plan” is unnecessary and a painful exercise in stating the obvious.

HOL members are football supporters, many of whom have decades of experience following ‘the beautiful game’. Might I suggest that members are all too well aware that transfer negotiations are not always straight forward and the tiresome repetition of this ‘insight’ is more a slight on our intelligence than anything contributory to the thread. (No offence intended).

I was hoping the reported Derby County interest reported this morning might have some legs - but oh no injured again!
Hope he is not included in the 25.
Martin O’Neill once said of him “He’s in love with being a footballer - but not in love with playing football” (or words to that effect). If only we’d have listened!

With the greatest of respect, it has never been my intention to cast aspersion as to anyone's intelligence on HOL and if I have strayed down this path it is by accident rather than design.I offer my sincere apologies if I have offended anyone.

I suspect that when some posters have been vilified for deals which I have not come to fruition I have tried to offer an explanation.

My dear wife often remarks that I am becoming rather repetitive, verbally, in what she calls my "Dotage", and perhaps this trait has manifested itself on HOL !

Crazy! Physio Room has the reason given as ‘Other’ with no return date listed. The latest update Was from September 17th. Was anything mentioned in Roy’s press conference about CW’s injury?

Fair enough, well it’s Friday night so perhaps treat her to a takeaway to make amends!

Willo, you are your own worst enemy, why bite?

Your once 'mod' guardian angel has now become a leading 'critic' i know, i suffered myself & will probably continue to do so unless i report him/her.

Continue to post in your own unique way that baffles most people on here, but, please, stop being someone you are not, be who you are.
