Are the politicians deciding on this just very, very stupid? Or very, very sinister? Because I am struggling to come up with any kind of other way of dividing them.

$5trillion transfer of wealth from ordinary people to Oligarchs in two years. People can believe that corruption exists but can't accept that it does at a national or transnational level despite all the numerous books written about how psychopaths/sociopaths rise to the top in corporations and the history of companies like Pfizer. How long do the conspiracy theorists have to keep getting things right before people start listening to them. Because it's all about chem trials, flat earth and moon landings?

It seems to me, very much like 1984. The suppressed workers subjugated by the ongoing war in a distant land. Rationing, shortages, high prices and low wages.

Being fed misinformation by Government. Having a huge database on 'all' citizens, their contacts and movements and medical records. Increased CCTV and police powers to stop protesters. Restrictions on travel,....did I miss anything ?

I disengage, I turn the page.

You missed young women throwing themselves at slightly older gentlemen which unfortunately has not been part of my experience.

Truth be told, it's about me hesitating to cross the Rubicon on the issue.

The reality is that something is very, very, very amiss with how our civilisation has been going since 2011. A lot of dots are being joined up but I genuinely struggle to find the courage to acknowledge what the shape is.

Yeah, it's taken me a long time to get here and a lot of sleepless nights. I've got kids though so I can't ignore it.

The censorship is probably the main thing. Obviously this is happening in the media (e.g. lies by omission) but we've seen the rise of "fact checkers" on all social media since 2020 and if you think you are getting an objective search from Google you've got another thing coming. The "Online Harms Bill" is another recent example of this where we have Orwellian concepts such as "legal but harmful". If they gave a s*** about children then why wouldn't they do something about p***.graphy?

From early 2020 huge numbers of senior medical professionals (doctors, epidemiologists, virologists and professors) were on to the fraud straight away but the media and big tech stood in their way. Clear evidence to show this fraud was out in the public domain. Whether that was the inadequate and gamable PCR tests, the clearly low infection fatality rate or the Chinese scare videos (or the clear overreaction to this) there were untold warning signs of what was going on. A channel 4 video even emerged proving that the exact same thing had been tried with Swine flu a decade before (a pandemic declared triggering big pharma vaccine “contracts”)

Now we finally have the likes of Mark Styne on GB news (apparently now being investigated by OFCOM) bringing on the Widows of people that have died from these vaccines, people that have been maimed from them and the clear evidence that the vaccinated have worse fatality rates than the unvaccinated. Other news outlets are trying to ease out this information without causing alarm or double down and try to link these deaths and illnesses to climate change or “long COVID”.

What had this got to do with Ukraine? Again, it’s well documented that the financial system was about to collapse in 2019 via reverse repo meltdown but a pandemic was declared in order to create an excuse to create huge amounts of new fiat money to delay the inevitable. By early 2022 the COVID lie (two weeks to flatten the curve) had been extended by two years, people had had enough of “boosters” and the truth was finally trickling out but inflation was now telling the story of the end of this financial system. However this war was engineered it came at exactly the right moment to extend the money printing and served as another huge distraction and ultimately cover for the coming severe shortages that were already in the pipeline due to the collapse of the supply chain. It’s not going to be pretty.

Has 2008 taught you nothing? People have been doomsdaying since the dawn of man, notably David Stockman for the last 12 years. On the surface the fundamental indicators might be blinking but the reality of the current financial ethos is government and state debt is largely irrelevant. The system is therefore alway able to bail itself out in the end because the alternative is riots, famine and the end of the wealthy.

There is also a clear difference between cyclical economic crashes and ‘the end of the financial system’. Again, people have been saying the end is nigh for years. A trough will be due at some point but you’re in fantasy land if you think the whole system is just going to end.

Even more fantasy blaming it not happening on a fake pandemic and an engineered war. Both of which will have run their course in the very near future. And then what? Oh yeah the whole thing chicken Littles. No chance. You’ll be waiting a very long time in your rabbit hole for that.

Ultimately the only doomsday scenario vaguely plausible is one caused by the current conflict snowballing, and even that is highly unlikely unless Putin is genuinely ill and makes a random decision. Even then those around him would probably rebel.

As I’ve said so many many times before, the only big potential cause for unrest and instability on the horizon is automation and AI. Possibly supported by displacement and suffering of sea levels do rise and weather becomes regularly more extreme. As for the scaremongering around ‘population bombs’ and suchlike, the further into this century we go the more wrong this decades old theory becomes.

You obviously have personal issues that are driving this need to double down on your posting frequency and the content within it - certainly some element of feeling wronged or disenfranchised. And that’s fine - just don’t let it cloud your ability to be objective and rational.

Do you understand the scale of the increase in the money supply over the last 2+ years? What mechanism is there to reduce inflation without crashing the economy and what will stop inflation from continuing to rise?

I'm kind of wondering where to get my 'facts' about anything from. The use of language by politicians/Government/officials to swerve accountability or to distract away from awkward questions. The compilation of statistics to suit agendas. Photoshopped images. Media manipulation by interested parties.
A slightly perplexing situation to be in, and to offer any kind of optimism in any information we receive.

Not sure about low wages. Unskilled workers have never had it so good with the rise in the minimum wage. And that is happening under those evil tories.......
