Edited by nickgusset (04 Oct 2016 1.35pm) Only the ones with nice tits. All the support at your meetings just demonstrates that there are a lot of halfwits in London. No surprise there. But sadly for, you not enough in the country to win a general election in the next 20 years.

P.S sorry it's taken me around 11 minutes to respond, I'll let my daughter wait at the school gates for me next time! Complain to the Mods then... it won't be the first time you've done that. If they feel I've overstepped the mark I'll take the punishment. What are you waiting for?

This thread is becoming decidely unpleasant and some cards don't seem far away. On the above, I am not sure Nick did say they had been influenced by Balls. But he is right to point out that there are similarities between New Labour spending policies, which at the time were decried by the Tories as more "tax and spend" or "fueled by debt", and the policies Hammond has espoused in the last few days. Whether that is because they have been influenced by Balls/Brown/Corbyn or whether it is because they've decided Keynsian spending was the solution all along, who knows. I did say yesterday that I do think Corbyn has influenced and reined in the government in some areas.

Halfwits for standing up for teachers, parents and children against the attacks on education? It's the same old broken record with the left. You whine about Tory cuts and when you get in government, you haven't a clue. Do we all remember the last Labour government and how glad most were to see the back of them? In case you haven't noticed, we are still paying for their last little spree. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (04 Oct 2016 4.08pm)

Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (04 Oct 2016 4.08pm) Slowest recovery since the 1920's. Sudden realisation that ideological austerity isn't the answer. You seem to ignore the fact that only two Labour governments have ever left office leaving the national debt higher as a percentage of GDP than it was when they came to power, and all of the others have lowered it as a percentage of GDP. The last one was after the biggest global financial crisis in decades. That said, I was glad to see the back of the Blair Brown years. I left the Labour party when Blair pushed to go to war in Iraq on flimsy evidence.

An interesting interpretation of the facts. And yet most people wouldn't trust Labour with a piggy bank. It's all Tory spin I suppose. I lived through the seventies mate and your sort want to take us back there but without the laughs.

A more equal society, affordable council homes for all, investment in infrastructure leading to job growth, community investment schemes, better relations between workers and their bosses, investing in green and renewable technologies, support for small businessesand entrepreneurs, a decent living wage for all. f***ing lefties wanting all of this.
